My grandfather had a lot of Ukiyoe art in his study. / It is a quite challenge to express the essence of Oiran image in an abstract way.

The Bikan Chiku of Kurashiki, Okayama, Japan. Taken during mid winter. It is one of the only places left in Japan where the whole area as been untouched and remains in its Edo style. Nikon D80, B&W change in Photoshop.
