This is a composite photo taken in Shalimar, FL near the edge of the bay. It was a glorious summer night. I applied the NIK skylight filter to deepen the reds in the picture. I also shot the sun on the same night to the west of the bank. I’ve combined them for a rich summer night shot. / /

The Iguazu waterfalls. One of those overwhelming places. The roar of these giant waterfalls is deafening, there beauty blinding. This shot of “La Garganta del Diablo” was a battle against the spray, but it was worth it. This was taken from the Brazilian side, the far side, a little obscured by the mist, is Argentina. Wallpaper can be found here This image has been featured by ‘The World’. / Sold as an extra large canvas print to a mystery buyer.

Taken from my wonderful book of North East sailing ships on the coast. / And the ship, background and quay, are painted from the fenland port of Wisbech, on the Lincolnshire coast. The rest of the painting is from my imagination. Watercolour on two rivers, hand-made 140lb paper. / 14” x 21”

The Crawley Edge Boatshed on the Swan River, One of the most iconic landmarks in Perth. The Boatshed is believed to have been built in the 1930’s. Yesterday we went fishing, all eleven of us and some friends. At one stage I asked Johnny (11) to carry Reilly (10 months) back to where we were picnicing. This is so typical of how Johnny carries Reilly most of the time, and Reilly just loves it. Can’t think why. ( : Anyway, I’m just glad to have captured this moment, their relationship continuously delights me.
