My husband is a surfer and I love the tones she uses and the lone board. Surfers are interesting sort of people.. sometimes they are sort of lone themselves. This is a composite photo taken in Shalimar, FL near the edge of the bay. It was a glorious summer night. I applied the NIK skylight filter to deepen the reds in the picture. I also shot the sun on the same night to the west of the bank. I’ve combined them for a rich summer night shot. / /

The Iguazu waterfalls. One of those overwhelming places. The roar of these giant waterfalls is deafening, there beauty blinding. This shot of “La Garganta del Diablo” was a battle against the spray, but it was worth it. This was taken from the Brazilian side, the far side, a little obscured by the mist, is Argentina. Wallpaper can be found here This image has been featured by ‘The World’. / Sold as an extra large canvas print to a mystery buyer.

Featured T-Shirt! I’ve always wanted to do a meaningful halftone =) I absolutely love the simplicity and romance of two people not needing to say a word and enjoying each others company. What makes this extra special are the rays from the morning sun. Originally a picture this is the first sunrise of 2008. Hope you like it as much as I had making it!
