Crochet
by lianneCrochet the coverlet of your life / with nimble wrist and flexible fingers / yet with delicate touch upon the hook. / Be aware that all the …
For those of you who do not crochet – a word of explanation. Crochet is done with a single hook and the unique stitches one makes in creating, designing or completing a project like an afghan or sweater, etc. actually leave “holes” of varying sizes between the stitches. It is the holes as much as the stitches themselves that give the overall design its character and hopefully its beauty. But… as in knitting or weaving, if you drop a stitch from your hook, needle or loom, you have a space now that was not intended and the entire piece can unravel from that place. Just a short ode about depression, and not fitting in. There are millions of people who just dont ‘fit in’. Another story from the After the Fall universe. There will be catnip, eventually; I think this one will be at least novella length. / Sarss will be in it (Tria’s brother-in-law, the black and gray cheetah marked Katarr warrior). Some humans ended up captured as slaves directly after the invasion began, and this is the story of one of them. Pt.38 Word count: 893
