    What can we say about abadonment? We’ve all felt it on some level or another; from parents, friends, lovers, God. We each seem to have a kind of “sore rose”, some point of beauty that hurts and is ecstatic at the same time. We keep pursuing it knowing that it will be painful but it also is something that we ourselves cannot abandon, like a thorn we have endless loyalty too. Sometimes the thorn gives us a thrill of love-sting, sometimes not, and all that we have invested doesn’t vanish so much as ignore us. Return to Sender.
