Looking forward to a lighter, brighter future. Hopefully.
Only the male has the orange tips to his wings, but she still has the lovely green patterns underneath them.
We’re doomed I tell ya, doomed!
This funny ecology graphic features a big, green and yellow frog attempting to make dinner of a fly, but grabbing the caption, Go Green, instead while the fly sits on top of it all.
Another Green Tree illustration for your wearing pleasure.
It was a photograph of a design on an a building in Hollywood. Then I added special effects to the photo.

Go Green concept with funky clouds and stars
“Green washing” and “Brain washing” are on a boat, / “Brain washing” fell in the water! / Which is what remains? This t-shirt alluded to the “Green washing” new green propaganda used by companies who see the enthusiasm of consumers for the ecology in a general way to make money by creating pseudos labels out of nowhere and who are certified by anyone. The ecology is not a game and companies who use these levers media blur the tracks. / I do not want to give lessons, but simply reiterated what everyone knows … Some scientists say that in 10 years, the climate has really changed and if we do not act now, we will not be back … so
Take care of your world.

RADIAL GREEN
I was going to call this photo ‘The Spirit of Green Island’ but the whole moment was a surreal meeting Willy Wonka moment after I thought about it some more…. This man’s spirit entered my soul today, he is Mr George Craig, a real croc hunter and travelling sailor of the Pacific Seas and is and has been the creator of Marineland Melanesia since 1971.This is not Green Island’s lush beaches and tropical rainforest but a heart in the middle of the island that I discovered today needs our help… While visiting the island with my 10 year old daughter and her school class for a day trip (you can see some lovely Green Island pics in my Portfolio) the rest of the class went ahead to see the crocodiles while the amazing Melanesian Art caught my eye. It really was incredible and everywhere, all looking quite old and displayed in a style reminiscent of holidaying in the 70’s or early 80’s, I love that sort of thing, like a time warp, thinking about how amazing it would have been when creating it new and how every corner was filled with Melanesian and islander trinkets, old fish tanks in wooden carved boxes, whale teeth carvings and sailors stuff… Clicking away at it in a little island style hut I was looking at some old photographs from the 60’s, particularly a salty sailor type fellow with a big bushy white beard, it had G. Craig written on it, thinking about this man from the sea I notice the man near me in the hut looks similar, big glasses, yep, white beard, not as bushy but the same shape and it clicks that these men are the same person….so being curious as I am I say to him… / “Is this you….in the photo?” He looks around at me and has a funny look on his face so I repeat myself with “This looks like you….is it?” to which he nods his head…it is him, I have noticed while looking at the images he seems to be around the things I see in front of me…”are you the owner?” I say to him…he nods again…. Wow – I am awestruck, this man in front of me created this tropical island surreal time warp I am experiencing…it is his dream… / I mention how I heard he had started it 30 years ago, he tells me 38 years ago… Then his face turns sad as he says “not for much longer, I cannot afford to run it anymore and if I sell it it will get bulldozed down, they want it all new and flashy” / Gosh, that’s no good….I am sad now… He brightens up as he tells me “Make sure you go inside the little museum, it was always my dream to build a bigger one to put it all in…” “I certainly will!” (I do and it is indeed very magical) I tell him and tell him some more how in love I am with Marineland Melanesia and how interesting and exciting I think his creation is… but I have to go, the class has gone ahead a lot, so I ask him for his photo, why not? I thought he was wonderful and his story and his creation were wonderful and he was proud and happy to have his photo taken, I think I saw a twinkle in his old eye…. I left him then and I heard him say to someone who must have been near us…”You know, that’s what made it all worthwhile…” I turned to look at him again but he was gone. Then I spent the rest of the day wondering if the bank would give me a loan to buy an island… Masks of Melanesia Check out the Fish Tank Room here on my googlepicassa I didn’t think it was clear enough for Red Bubble but wanted to show you…there is 30 extra photos to see there if you like.

An idyllic suburban afternoon, spring 2009. Dog rose high in the old apple tree, turning a spiral of lazy triumph. We won’t ever see hurricanes in England will we?
