These pages feature idolized movie and real men, rugged and dirty, gritty and great. A realm of American History that is in the classic tradition of good versus evil. / Thanks for looking, Seth.

    by Seth Weaver

    US$5.58–US$127.53

©Seth F.Weaver, Sr. 09/22/08. A Compullage™ work. A collage of scenes inspired from spaghetti westerns featuring Clint Eastwood. / A lone rider approaches a hanging tree where many men have died both innocent and guilty. He sees his own life and the men he has killed as he stares at the tree. Is it a mirage or a vision of haunting guilt. Maybe he’s been in the desert too long without water or is this a vision of things to come. Revenge for the lives he’s taken? Thanks for looking, Seth.

    1) Where was I born? / 825 L. Street Anchorage, Alaska. The address is significant, as, last I went there, it was the Deparment of Health and Human Services and the Health Clinic was in it, where people could get shots, but not where people could get epidurals! lol For a while JTPA classes were held there and when they asked where I was born I said “Here.” and they said “Oh you mean Alaska?” and I said “Yes, but no: here!” and they said “Oh, you mean in Anchorage?” and … on it went ,until finally they went “You mean this room?” and I said “Yes.” It was a possible, slight, alteration of the truth. I know that when I went to see the doctor, who was also the doctor that delivered me, I had to go up to at least the third floor, and that’s where the JTPA classes were, so … I was born at Providence Hospital, you see; but, if I said that, no one would know where I was born because their address changed. 2) Any siblings? Three: Two elder sisters, one elder brother. The very elder(est) sister lives in Alaska and runs an RV Campground that is fairly successful, called Fox Run. It has trees and tea making capabilities, in case you needed to know that. Oh, and a lake; not a loch, but it’s a nice size; and cabins in place of cottages. The second-eldest sister is in Tucson; me, her, Mom, Dad, her son, my youngest son, our niece, and our nieces boyfriend all came together to Arizona in 2003. I got custody of my daughters, finally, in 2006. One is living here, same house as me, my son, mom, and Dad; now there is also her husband and their baby- who is delightful. My eldest daughter just moved back to Alaska. Whoops! Siblings! Right: My brother is living in Alaska, working at the Second Chance shop, which is highly controversial and entirely my cup of tea because it is a junk shop with the emphasis on junk! The sort of place, that is, where one rambles and sees what one might find. Or one asks a clerk where to find something and they magically (it seems) produce it from a seemingly unrelated pile of goods where it has lain for the last 10 years. It’s not an antique shop, then, or a thrit shop; but a definite junk shop and I love it.. I’m very proud of him for finding such a wonderful place to work and thrive. 3) Favorite singer of all time? As if I could name just one! David Bowie is very good; Freddie Mercury, too; Alice Cooper has tremendous range, as do the other two gents, and has maintained the strength of his voice wonderfully; I love Rod Stewart’s gravely pitch, though; and I tell you, no matter how you might disagree, that Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin really did a terrific job in ‘Paint Your Wagon’. So … I guess it’s me. Out of all the singers in the world, the one that makes me the happiest when they sing is me. lol Especially when I get to sing to my grand-daughter. 4) Favorite Movie? Err… more or less, ditto to the first part of the favorite song answer. I love movies! I love the movie 13th Warrior, as well as The Outlaw Josey Wales, Strange Brew, Escanaba In De Moonlight, Mad Max, Road Warrior, West World, The Day The Earth Stood Still, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, all the Dirty Harry movies and pretty much anything else involving Clint Eastwood, The Three Amigos (Steve Martin, Martin Short, Chevy Chase), Across the Universe, Tommy Sound of Music, Hair, Paint Your Wagon, Life of Brian, Jabberwocky .. these are all movies I have watched repeatedly and would gladly watch again. I also loved Omega Man, to some extent, and the remake of it, and I enjoy watching many new movies, remakes or otherwise. Penelope was very good! 5) Favorite Book? The Holy Scrptures .. The Chronicles of Ordine: Book I: Sacred Beggar Boy .. Reggie The Evil Milkshake (two of which I wrote) ... The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy trilogy, all five books of it (but most especially the four first ones in the big black bound up copy) .. Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency … Where the Wild Things Are .. and most anything by Georgette Heyer. I love books, though! Oh and I really loved Interview with the Vampire.. before it was released as part of a series. And it was sold by itself, first, as I had it years and years before it was sold with Lestat’s story following soon after. So, either time machines work or it already existed by plan. Salem’s Lot, the first in the Dark Tower series, The Stand .. I don’t often read them, but they are good! Mr Big, which is like The Stand, but less supernatural. Carrie is very good, Christine is too. Maya is the only book that was just so full of sex and greed and violence, but it was interesting anyway. Not sure if I would still like it, but it did hold my attention. 6) Favorite Job? / The one I have now is rather nice. 7) Want to visit before I die? I always wanted to visit Ireland, Spain, and Scotland; not necessarily in that order. But, mostly, I want to visit a very good friend whom I can spend time with doing nothing much at all. The sort of visit/ friend wherein doing nothing is full of joy and contentment. Doesn’t matter where … 8) Children’s names? / Jason, Erica, Morgan, and Jordan 9) Hobbies? / I don’t actually believe in hobbies. The concept makes no sense to me. I do have things I do, though, such as digital art, painting, some mild photography, writing, cooking, beading if I get the chance, watching movies, listening to music; I’d love to be out on a lake or some such, in a row boat maybe …. 10) High School Graduation year? / Didn’t. Betwixt being ill and being sexually harassed by the Vice Principal, etc I jjust couldn’t deal with it, anymore 11) Next vacation? / Never had a vacation. 12) Last Concert? / Alice Cooper, in Tucson. He was also my first concert, in Anchorage. The 2nd was much better. I’ve only been to the two. 13) Where are ancestors from? Well, definitely America (Cherokee), Ireland, and China. Possibly, according to one theory, Scotland. I’ve been told I’m a Gunn, of a sort. Or, not so much told as it was implied very strongly, more than once. First by someone who sought to insult me whilst explaining my extreme behaviors, who implied that maybe I was Scottish and didn’t know it. Yes, he did mean it as an insult, but it didn’t work for him, as the only thing I would find insulting about being called Scottish is if I knew I wasn’t at all by ancestry, or someone implied it meant I wasn’t Alaskan, or it was a Scotsman trying to say I was trying to be Scottish .. you know? The other time was after I had ended up with a tartan scarf, so happened to be the Gunn clan, and people kept telling me they wouldn’t take kindly to me having it. So I said “Let them come and try to take it, then.” Finally, sick of my arrogance, someone went and told some persons of said heritage and actually fresh off the plane from Scotland, who popped by to harass and frighten me a bit. Only after they asked me a couple of questions and received their answers, they smiled and told the other people to let me keep it. And one of them said “But, unless she’s .. ” and the main guy, again, told everyone to let me keep it. Then he warned me never to let anyone take it from me. Later on, he told me it was all right, because my husband did finally manage to snatch it while I was holding our baby and I had to let it go or he’d of pulled us both into the burn barrel. I did rescue the remnants of it, and the man took them away to bury them or something. So, yes, there may be some Scottish blood there, somewhere. I was told of an Uncle, as in great-great- or so Uncle, who was Jewish, but I’ve no idea if he was blood related to me or no. And, per the story of the Cherokee, per my comments on the Binky painting: Alaska. My parents are from Texas, though. 14) Where do you want to retire? / I don’t want to retire, not yet. I want to write books, make paintings, do beadwork, and play in the water. Scotland is my first choice, so far; but that’s without having been there, mind! 15) How did you find RedBubble? More than adequate! tee hee Uhm, it was mentioned to me, at some point, and I was finally enticed into joining, but I’d already had several run ins with it, via looking up images on google.

  • The Man With No Name©
    by Seth Weaver

    US$5.58–US$127.53

©Seth F.Weaver,Sr. 08/21/08. A Digi-Mix™ work. During the late 60’s a lone American actor rode through the spaghetti westerns of Sergio Leone and rode into international stardom. He was Clint Eastwood and he symbolized the “Man With No Name” a hero who was quick and vicious. Another western themed work. Thanks for looking, Seth.

  • yup… named after Eastwood… this beautiful redheaded baby was moments away from being killed at a local animal shelter (the BASTARDS)... needless to say… he’s at our house… being fostered (and loved) until we find his “forever home”... i cannot fathom destroying such a wonderful creature… i pray for the lottery… only in order to shut that f*cking horrible place DOWN!

How good is this?! Amazing, in less than a day of joining up on this site, some kind person bought a canvas print of LONDON CALLING. This is a first attempt at expressionism which was painting over a collage of CLASH clippings. I had a lot of fun creating the painting and I hope that the print gives the buyer lots of pleasure too.
