A lone Zebra standing in the grass of the Serengeti in Tanzania / . / . /

An orphan in the street of a remote Ugandan village near the border with Rwanda and the Congo. He was on his way to a dance performance the local orphanage puts on for donations, as was I. We were able to talk to him and some of his friends who were a remarkably well spoken group. In fact in a lot of ways they really put kids of the same age, 13-14, in the west to shame. Thankfully, he was willing to pose for this portrait for me.
