  • statues
    by Mark Gardner

    US$3.99–US$91.20

The “Conversation Piece” consists of 22 copper-bronze statues near The Groyne lighthouse at Littlehaven Beach, South Shields. Designed by Spanish artist Juan Munoz they have been a talking point for the last few years. Oddly, from a distance you can never be sure who is talking to who – human or statue!

  • Cambodian Children
    by Natalie Broome

    US$4.19–US$95.76

This photo of local children was taken on a small island off Cambodia in January 2008. The girl is holding her younger sister in such a grown up and mature way. I couldn’t see the mother in sight and think the children had more or less been left to look after themselves.

  • Vietnamese Frog
    by Natalie Broome

    US$4.19–US$95.76

This was taken in Vietnam late one night in January 2008. I was enjoying the evening warmth and noticed this frog behind me in the bushes.

  • Winter
    by Paul Manning

    US$3.99–US$91.20

The most amazing light fell over Rainbow Bay, QLD at sunset on the 8th of July. The wind dropped to nothing, the swell was glassy and the colours of the sky and water kept growing richer and richer until finally darkness took over. An amazing night to be out walking, surfing or taking snaps…I hope you can get the feel!

  • Sunrise Delight II
    by Cassie Gannon

    US$3.99–US$91.20

This is a landscape shot of the original. Just as nice I think. I entered this image into our local Photographer contest May 2008. I received the second place award but I was up against a professional photographer. So am pretty proud of that.

  • It’s a beautiful country I live in. Best viewed LARGE

  • They guy behind the sunglasses is a good friend of mine from a town near 1770, in Northern Queensland. In the reflection you can see the sun going down at a surf break near a small town called Krui in South Sumatra, after a massive day of surfing perfection.

  • Burmas Children
    by Murray Newham

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Following our noses to Hsipaws famous popcorn factory, we hear giggled “I love you”s from the side of the road…turning we see nothing, hearing only excited giggles.. we walk on, following a delicious, hearty smell only to again hear a “hello.. hello” this time we quickly spin to hear a small child squeal and run off to her friends, hiding behind a bamboo fence enclosing their village.. We wandered over and they giggled with excitement.. most of the children would have been under 8 years old, there was one girl who was a bit older and could speak very basic English.. The smaller children jostled for a photo, what strikes me is the intense look of anticipation on their faces… most all the shots we took show a similar expression.. the little girl with the straw hat was quieter and smaller and only approached us when we were leaving.. I hadn’t taken her photo yet.. / Technically the photo is very flawed.. it’s blown out and full of shadows but it’s such a beautiful expression that I just did what I could to present it…

  • Silk Road caravan, Northeastern Afghanistan. Fall, 1991. When this photograph is enlarged, you may notice an attractive, speckled appearance in the sky. I achieved this effect by giving my local photo store a very dusty slide to scan.

  • Finding My Way Home
    by EventHorizon

    US$4.66–US$106.40

  • Stairway to Heaven
    by Travis Easton

    US$4.66–US$106.40

This shot believe it or not was shot on Velvia 100 colour slide film and is a good advertisement on how un-neutral Cokin ND grads are. Looking straight into the bright sun I put a 3 stop grad on to give it a small chance of working the grad however totaly monochromed the shot into this tabacco/ sepia rendering. I still like it for what it is but I tell you what I’m pretty unimpressed with Cokin’s idea of what Nuetral is. That aside I hope you like it. Taken at South-east Point, Wilsons Promontory after spending a wonderful night in the keepers cottages next to the Lighthouse, highly recomended getaway. For more shots from this area check out my Wilsons Promontory gallery. 10% of all profits go to the Wilderness Society

  • Approaching Cold Front
    by catchlightsa

    US$5.32–US$121.60

I live in an area where cold fronts pass by on a weekly basis. Often this makes for quite dramatic skies. This shot was taken just before the front arrived at a spot called Rainbow Valley

  • CELBRATING MY SURVIVAL, 8 YEARS TODAY! 3RD MARCH

I AM CELEBRATING 8 YEARS OF LIVING AND WALKING THIS WAS WHAT I WAS DOING 8 YEARS AGO TODAY! it broke my spine in 5 places. I used to call it my ‘flying machine’ and lurve cruising @ 240kms per hour and muse at how everything seemed to go in slow motion and the earth would writhe beneath me. I want to share my celebration with you groovers. I just wanted to share my nasty little creation with you. It took seconds to do. and the rest of my life spent committed to understanding the series of convoluted invisible installations that were driven home that day. the 3rd march 2000. / Hello sister morphine…...alot of strange 3rd person journal entries….......a shift in thinking and screaming ! so yes! i am enjoying every tiny part of my life now, i love what i am doing with SHOOTERS GALLERY i have found a way to continue being creative and share it with others and the coolest people as well, Now, more than ever, i have no time for ego trippers, arrogant arseholes, time wasters, attention seekers or any other negative trip. I used to be tolerant (of stuff) but no longer….......my injuries have made me become as ferocious as a wounded tiger and use it in my art which has just morphed again and i love it. it doesnt look that bad this way up but head first up a rock wall airborne and land on the roof…....hurt. Since then i see my life and others in a completely different light, / kind of like what HDR does to images. i remember flying back into my body and waking up finding my body convulsing and forcing myself to survive. I was a single mum with a son 9 years old and a daughter 8 years old who were at school. I was in between life and death for a very long time. i kept leaving. it took an hour for me to be found and then 1/2 hour to get me out. in the next 7 years i spent trying to get back into my life, reconstructing tiny parts to rebuild it. i am still doing it, i lost absolutely everything. / i realised that some seeds take alot of pressure before they crack and new life that has been dormant for years finally comes into existence. that’s was how i made sense of it, and decided to stay.

  • this painting is a reference to the severe drought we are experiencing in the Lockyer and I have incorporated the country as it used to look in the background—leading up to the desolation in the foreground.
