On my way home from the city wanted to capture the S curve in the Monash Freeway near East Malvern setup the tripod and aimed the camera through this bloody annoying fence, it was too high for my tripod so i had to zoom in a bit to miss the pailings. Chinese Red Fan Girl wears a pair of geta on her tootsies, a gift from ‘Little Blue’ The kanji symbols in the background on the screen translate into ‘One’s Dearest Wish’

we were out for a walk on the quayside in Newcastle and the gulls were going crazy, managed to get this one catching a piece of bread and even managed to get half the tyne bridge in !!!! lucky or what :-)

an old mining pit wheel in a village near where i live, these are dotted about all over this part of the country, left to celebrate the past glory days of the coal mining industry, the sun was just going down, there was frost on the ground and i was frozen !!!!!

Mt. Bromo smolders uncomfortably close to the Indonesian metropolis of Surabaya on the island of Java. Bromo is the small, grayish cone to the left. Mt. Semeru, the highest mountain on Java, looms in the distance. The entire area is contained within the Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park. The area is inhabited mainly by the Tengerese People, the last Hindus left on Java.
