  • View from Danby Beacon
    by dougie1

    US$4.32–US$30.88

now this view, if you could follow through from duck bridge, is fromm the top of danby beacon hill, out to the north sea, over scaling dam resevoir, the potash mine, deepest in europe, and my village is just off the upper left of the pic. / so there you are onedas, that is “whats over that hill!”

  • Boulby Cliff
    by dougie1

    US$4.32–US$98.80

looking back over from cowbar/staithes the near cliff is collapsing into the sea, and the far cliff is boulby, and is the highest coastal cliff in england. going left at the top of the picture, will lead you to my home, just a few hundred metres away . on the edge of the cliff are the remains of the alum mines, which were big business all along this coast.

  • A snap I took from the roadside of these majestic towers. They reminded me of a modern equivalent to scarecrows, watching over the crops. Wind turbines have always excited me probably because we passed them just before arriving at my grandparents’ house as a kid- so it’s stuck!
