This piece is the first in a series of four. The strong greens and reds are symbolic of the tones of earth. The strong nude body of the woman is embraced by the earth, almost one with it. Her hair will be a continuous flow throughout all four works in the series linking earth, air, water and fire.”The Beauty of Creation” was a very intense creation for me as the artist, as I took my skills to a whole new level, practicing immense detail and patience throughout the whole process.

Along the borders of Gnat Creek Oregon a tiny white wildflower blooms in front of a rock, basking in the summer sunlight. / This watercolor painting is done in an impressionistic style with a background suggesting foliage in sunlight and shadow. The large warm toned rock basking in the golden glow of summer sunlight behind the tiny wildflowers has an interesting speckled and mottled appearance that shows off the simplicity of the flowers. the foreground ins done in shadowy hues of purples and browns, suggesting the muddy creek bank.
