We had some time, so we sat, relaxed, and breathed in the beauty of Belgium, one more time.
We were just breaking camp when a stormy light turned the sky to a strong daramatic blue and highlighted the rich red soil of the floodway near Dangalli National Park
Psyche Bend Lagoon is a former irrigation drainage disposal basin of 22 ha / located near the southern end of Kings Billabong, near Mildura. Irrigation drainage / discharge ended in 1996 when a new drain allowed drainage water to bypass / the lagoon. The lagoon and approximately 110 ha of surrounding vegetation / has been severely affected by saline drainage water and shallow saline / groundwater.

This was a photograph of a maple seedling that was taking root in my yard. It always amazes me how quickly these seedlings attach themselves to the earth and grow before you even notice them. Sadly I had to take it down but I took many photographs of it first…................it was so perfect in its early stages of life.
