  • Visited the Botanical Garden this am and found this really unusual Tree, these are the Flowers, the stem and trunk are covered in spikey bits.The fruit is as large as coconuts and similar looking though without husks, hence the name Cannonball, apparently they are edible but the smell puts People off. / The Flowers smell lovely. / The Trees are grown from seeds and originally came from South America.   • The mystical slopes of Forbidden Plateau on Vancouver Island BC, Canada, harbour a secret. Anciently it is said that an entire tribe of people who were pursued by their enemies, disappeared forever into the sacred mists high up on the plateau. A powerful legend that still thrives today.   • An acrylic painting 50cm x 60cm on canvas of Mill Beach, Australia. A beautiful part of the coastline of Australia where I was taken to recently for a surprise anniversary trip by my husband. The view was spectacular with its sparkling Blue water which contrasted with the Orange colours in the rock formations. A moment in time now captured on canvas to share with you.   • I have been working on a new 5 painting series called reaching for raven, they are significant to what arteology calls prayer paintings, with deep thoughts and concerns for family members and friends that at this time I am concerned about, this first little painting 16×20 is mostly acrylic with a little oil and I used textural paint with pumice and a ground like steel also with a gold foil pigment.
