Cancer is like a virus program which infect Internet computers and spreads on and on with time; if not stopped by a effective Anti Virus software it will make your computer to infect completely and make it useless for you and it will also spread to other healthy computers on the Internet as the data travels to other computer on the Internet and will keep infecting. In a similar way if Cancer cells not killed by the body it will pass on from one organ in the body of a person to another organ and keep spreading and person will die eventually after spending $20,000 to $5 Millions and relatives become so sad fro untimely demise. This article addresses more preventive side of Cancer and change of life style to live longer and happy. Why do People have Cancer? Cancer is more pronounced in developed countries unlike poorer countries. / The reason is that the people is developed countries have a different complex lifestyle -use Mobile Phones, Microwave emitting electromagnetic radiation which causes Cancer, Fridges and eat 4 times out of date old meat with high level of toxic preservatives and people in poor countries eat one meal but fresh food and relatively simpler lifestyle. This makes developed country people over eat the large quantity of meat; coupled with sedentary life style like commuting with cars; watching TV, Channels and become obese quickly. / There is also a mad cow decease which is also incurable. I witnessed an alarming incident as a 10 year kid, the scenario was that a cow which was being sold to a man (butcher) and to my amazement the cow started making horrible sounds and jumping; as she recognized that this butcher will purchase her; and she will be killed by the butcher. So you can see that in agitated mental state animal ( Cow) also secrete the toxic enzymes when they know they are going to die and lead to mad cow decease. I am not saying whether you eat meat or not it is your decision but you have to live with consequences of your choice as well. Everyone has a free choice to live and die and no one lives for ever either. In the past, so many civilizations live and died the world over; because of unmanageable deceases. Cancer is a silently spreading decease and emerges when it is too late. But people think, it is not their chance, no need to worry. / But something is called Wisdom so you sort out what is working for you and what is not working for you. Our body is the result of the type of food we eat which makes blood contains red blood cells , white blood cells , Antibodies, plasma etc and the blood passes through our head having mind and our spirit. So body, mind and spirit integrate. Your body is a temple; respect it, you ought to eat what is right for you. Learn not only by your own experience but experiences of the other people in the past. / So, the reason is simple it the Food Chain which have mainly extremely toxic preservatives used by food manufacturers to enhance the shelf life; you can check your fridge as they write keep beef /Lamb for 2 years, Fish 1 ½ Years and so on. Our bodies have to fight Cancer cells 6 to 10 times during our life span. / God or Nature has given us the Antibodies and white blood cells in combination, as a biological anti virus to kill any cancerous cells which are foreign cells infecting the body. Unfortunately, Doctors , have limiting knowledge and still doing research and tying to find it out exactly but currently do not have a cure for the Cancer. So I have to say with sadness that the current doctors and the surgeons are not more than the butchers in desperation by doing Chemotherapy and the double mastectomy. My heart weeps to see our ladies going to such a unfortunate end. It should be stopped patient have dignity; a hope for the better recovery of patients. Chemotherapy is used in desperation to annihilate ( kill) majority of cancerous cells but healthy cells are also killed ; consequently, does not work due to the loss of resistance of the patient as the healthy white blood cells and antibodies also die. So recovery of patient is hampered and results in loss of hairs, extremely poor health due to toxic dose of harmful radiation through out the patient’s body. / Doctors are unable to stop the spread of cancer as cancerous cells move all over the bodies throughout the arteries and veins and get concentrated on certain body parts, organs and glands. So patient can live for few more years with reduced quality of life. CANCER is completely treatable without any surgery by changing your life style to enhance your natural resistance and immunity by enabling your antibodies can kill cancer cells which happens 6 to 10 times in each healthy body during their life span so there is hope. Even a cancer patient can change their life style and receive enhanced level of immunity and life a longer life with good quality. You have to change your life style make it simpler. Please note Cancer thrives in acidic body environement ( PH Negative) and need to counter it by base enviroenment (PH -Positive ) , to make your body a neutral environment ( PH – Zero). Even Anger and worries create acidic environment in the persons bady and invites Cancerous cells to flourish as antibodies are suppressed so they do not kill the Cancerous cells and it spreads. The Surprising Poisons in Our Pets I worry about exposure to mercury and fire retardants for myself and my children. My cats and dogs? Never really thought about it, have you? The alarming truth is that our pets are not immune to environmental toxins–in fact, they are showing levels of toxins much higher than those found in people. The Environmental Working Group recently undertook a study to investigate the extent of exposures pets face to contaminants in our homes and outdoor environments. The results are absolutely staggering. Are you sitting? The study showed that the blood and urine samples of dogs and cats were contaminated with 48 of 70 industrial chemicals tested, including 43 chemicals at levels higher than those typically found in people. The study included plastics and food packaging chemicals, heavy metals, fire retardants, and stain-proofing chemicals. The heartbreaking results showed that average levels of many chemicals were actually even much higher in pets than is typical for people. Levels of stain- and grease-proof coatings (perfluorochemicals–these are from the Teflon family) in dogs were 2.4 times higher than in people, cats had 23 times more fire retardants (PBDEs) and more than 5 times the amounts of mercury, compared to what has been found in people in national studies conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Environmental Working Group. Dogs were found to be contaminated with 35 chemicals altogether, including 11 carcinogens, 31 chemicals toxic to the reproductive system, and 24 neurotoxins. The carcinogens are seriously worrisome; dogs have much higher rates of cancer than people do, including 35 times more skin cancer, four times more breast tumors, eight times more bone cancer, and twice the incidence of leukemia, according to the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Center. It is estimated that between 20 and 25 percent of dogs die of cancer, making it the second leading cause of death in dogs. I’d say the pieces of the puzzle are quickly falling into place. The cats in the study showed elevated levels of 46 chemicals altogether, including 9 carcinogens, 40 chemicals toxic to the reproductive system, 34 neurotoxins, and 15 chemicals toxic to the endocrine system. According to the report, endocrine system toxins (those that affect hormones) raise particular concerns for cats, since they include the thyroid toxins and fire retardants called PBDEs. Thyroid disease (hyperthyroidism) is a leading cause of illness in older cats. The use of PBDEs in consumer products over the past 30 years has grown neck and neck with the rising cases of feline hyperthyroidism–one preliminary study suggests that PBDEs are found at higher levels in cats stricken with this disease. How in the world is this happening?! See “Detailed Findings” in High Levels of Toxic Industrial Chemicals Contaminate Cats And Dogs. But the gist of it is this: Animals are exposed to chemicals in our stain-proof, fire-retardant furniture and carpets, their food (coating in fry food bags, can lining, mercury in seafood), their bedding (stain proof, off gassing), and any other number of consumer products. Meanwhile, phthalates are reaching them through pet toys, pet shampoos, and many pet medications. As well, pets pick up contaminated dust from outdoor and indoor pollution–and then, particularly cats, meticulously groom themselves–ingesting all of those toxins. I wish I could say that the news isn’t as disheartening as it is. Actually, it seems to me a dire warning–our cats and dogs are becoming our canaries in the coal mine. There are some steps you can take to protect your pet, here is a good summary of tips from Pets for the Environment that will make your pet, as well as your home in general, safer and less toxic.

Describe your artistic journey. How does it affect your life? Well I am a keen observer with high level of imagination, intuition, and excelled in Art work and drawing in my H.SC.   Two of my prints were accepted in Western Carolina University’s summer exhibition of the above named title. Dear friend, Miriam Goldberg wrote the following essay to accompany them at the show. / She has graciously allowed me to include it here on Redbubble. I hope it makes you think and that you enjoy it. Chipper =========== / Haiku Snowflakes fall then melt, / their time profoundly fleeting, / in them I see us. A Fragile Species Do you know how many species of life there are? How many have disappeared? How many are disappearing? If your answer is “yes,” let’s sit down to tea. Because only God knows answers to these questions. Man has never known with whom or what he shares planet Earth. Just as you may know many, but not all, of the people who live in your town, we have a rough idea of our global neighbors. We know that within our own species lie great mysteries which define our differences, and we willingly admit that there are things in nature that defy our understanding, yet we seldom let our ignorance prevent us from making dire pronouncements on the state of the planet or its inhabitants, both plant and animal. When a species is added to an endangered list, numbers dictate its inclusion. Low numbers. Perhaps, though, one of Earth’s most fragile species numbers in the billions. A species with a sketchy survival instinct that could easily paint itself into oblivion—that’s us. Save the tigers! Save the rainforest! Save the whales! Save the polar bears! The list sometimes seems endless. How about “Save yourself!”? Let’s save ourselves from those who predict the death of our planet by a new ice age or a global warming. Let’s save ourselves from those who predict our future based on a pond’s frog population or the number of butterflies that drown in the Gulf of Mexico each autumn. Let’s save ourselves from our own words and actions by finally seeing our purpose on Earth. / We, the arrogant “owners” of the planet, are more bird-brained than the lowliest of birds, if any bird could be considered lowly. In arrogance, we strut around like peacocks; we crow our reign over all things living as if any other species agrees we have more of a right to this space than they. We’re cuckoo, and we are on our way to dodo status. It’s time to think small, my non-feathered friend. As a species we strive for more territory, more influence, more power, more comfort, more knowledge. How about more understanding? Instead of solving problems by creating problems (such as the DDT solution or the Ethanol solution), let’s solve problems by understanding and eliminating them. No one would seriously blame the extinction of a species on that species, but we seem bent on deserving that responsibility. Has there ever been a more self-destructive species than man? / We expand our territory to include areas that are hostile to us, then attempt to eradicate the hostility, whether by resettling human populations, relocating crocodilians and bears, building sound barriers, rerouting rivers, or any of our other often futile endeavors to recreate and rule our environment. We think big. We want more. When we create a problem, we don’t solve it, we hide it with another, bigger problem, and we keep doing it until it’s seemingly unsolvable. The planet, however, has a simple solution: extinction. The phrase appearing on the tombstone of the extinct Homo Sapiens should be, “All they wanted was more.” Our footprints are large, but not ineradicable. We feel we have no borders, no limits; this earth is ours! We believe that we are the proprietors of the planet, the invincible rulers. How nature laughs at us. We are so mighty, our entire species can be taken down by a microscopic, nearly invisible entity. We, whose numbers are large and whose influence seems boundless, can be exterminated by a virus. Our history of reproduction, colonization, and victory is primitive compared to what a virus can accomplish. Or a bacterium. Or bug. While hikers may fear a bear encounter, or swimmers a shark, so many more of us succumb to attacks by predators we have invited by invading their territory. We affect climate, we affect nature, we affect each other, but we blame all these things for their effect on us. We are as fragile as earthworms and fireflies; despite knowing we are mortal, we feel invincible. Therein is our weakness, our fatal flaw. Our footprint is large, but when we no longer walk this planet, the earth will quickly recover. Nature will overtake our cities, our homes, our factories, and malls. Birds will make nests in our plastic shoeboxes, cockroaches will eat our wallpaper, all species—known and unknown to us—will benefit from us having been here, but gone. And the planet—self-cleaning as it is—will eliminate the damage we have done, burying the indestructible with earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, and all it has in its considerable arsenal, while life continues and makes use of our remains.

  Ériu was the sovereign earth-mother goddess of Ireland. She was one of a triad of goddesses: her sisters, Banbha and Fodla, were also god…

  Ériu was the sovereign earth-mother goddess of Ireland. She was one of a triad of goddesses: her sisters, Banbha and Fodla, were also goddess queens of the land. Ériu was married to the King Mac Gréine (Son of the Sun), who was himself the son of the Dagda, the father god of the Tuatha dé Danann. When the Milesians (the humans) came to the Emerald Isle, they were confronted by the three sisters, each of them offered the island in exchange that the land be named after them. Banbha and Fodla became poetic names for the island, while Ériu became the chief name. We now know the land as Ireland, the root of the name coming from the name Ériu. Ériu was an earth goddess, and this painting focuses primarily on that aspect of her. I wanted to tune in to earth energies rather than focus on form. As I worked on the piece, I filled my mind with images of Ireland, the land itself, and its plentiful plant and animal life. I used a photograph of a moss and lichen covered rock in Ireland as a guide to the composition. The range of colors in the painting reflect Ireland’s lushness and richness of life. Ériu was also considered a solar goddess, through her marriage to Mac Gréine. When Ériu, as queen, conferred the land to the new human king, she offered him wine in a golden cup. Wine was the symbol of the earth, rich with life and plenty while the cup symbolized the sun, the source of illumination and healing. By using glazing techniques, I incorporated qualities of the sun in the painting as well. Glazing requires very thin layers of color layered over each other. The light shines through the transparent layers to the white canvas below, when the light bounces back, the colored layers blend, creating the different hues. I used only Hansa Yellow Light, Phthalo Blue, and Alizarin Crimson in the paintings. I didn’t mix colors on a palette. All the different colors appear solely from light blending together the multiple layers of color. Ériu was also a goddess of sovereignty. In ancient times, the Celtic kings were married to the goddess of the land. It was the king’s responsibility to please the goddess, to make sure no one died in childbirth, that the food should grow plentifully, and so on. If the goddess was happy, the people thrived and were happy. If the king was unable to fulfill these duties—the king would be overthrown, having lost favor with the goddess. I think about how such beliefs truly bonded people to the land they lived on. It was much more difficult to disrespect the land, or to take without first obtaining the permission of the land itself. How many of us today take a moment to consider how our actions affect the land we live on? If we thought of the earth as a living being would it be as easy to treat it so poorly?   Content / My work is inspired by the natural world. Its beauty and its cruelty. Its hostility and its hospitality. Its paradoxes and its contrasts. When looking at nature, one can’t help but see its destruction at the hands of humans. It is virtually impossible to find unspoiled nature. Our planet’s ecological balance has been severely compromised, and phenomena such as global warming and the deterioration of the ozone layer affect every inch of the planet. I feel strongly that each of us must use the tools at our disposal to preserve and restore the natural world. As an artist, I employ visual language to address these issues with the goal of awakening interest and inspiring my audience to action. To learn more about each series’ subject in order to better understand and communicate its essence. Those who cannot be reached by depressing news about the dire state of our world may be reached by images of its beauty (Ansel Adams successfully showed this) and the threat imposed on it. Art has the power to make one see things in a new light. It allows us to develop a love for places and things that we would otherwise not have noticed, or thought of as ugly or boring. It helps us discover the beauty of the ocean floor, the dirt or alluvial mud that is bog, the bark of a tree. / Approach / Rather than re-creating a landscape on a canvas, I aim to express its essence. Obviously, no single work can hope to distill the complex spirit of a landscape, much less the infinitely sophisticated ecology that sustains it. So, in order to capture this richness, I work on a large number of paintings concurrently. This allows me to transport strong elements and effective techniques from one piece to the next. Each multi-layered rendering shares some details with the other works in the series. The overlap of elements enriches each individual expression and deepens the cohesion within the series. Ultimately, each piece captures some fragment of the landscape’s power until the larger body of work coalesces to express its deepest essence.
