This is a collaborative transatlantic entry between myself and the incredibly talented and totally awesome billyboy in Belgium for RedBubbles Gaia – The Living Planet competition. Now, I’m not a religious person, but I wanted to illustrate by using billyboys Noah’s Ark image that if we dont start taking care of this planet we are living on I truly / believe we will be in for a disaster of biblical proportions. All that is beautiful and wondrous will simply disappear… like so many ephemeral bubbles. We are all interconnected, and we must find our harmony with Gaia, or risk losing it all. Many thanks to billyboy for sharing my vision, and giving so generously of his time, blood, tears and love to bring this vision into glorious life. Concept: Rhana / Background artwork: Billyboy / Art within the bubbles: Rhana / Bubble creation: Billyboy / Design: Rhana / Title Inspiration: Billyboy For those interested in buying the totally hawt tee of this image its now available over at billyboys place. Proceeds from sales of the tee go to the STV Foundation.

Humans are rarely confronted with the realities of their actions in their own life time…............. This image was created to support a campaign to increase awareness on the degradation and irresponsible use of our rivers, waterways and wetlands particularly the Murray Darling Basin :)) Images are a collage of shots I have taken around South Australia, including Murray River and Coorong areas. Mother Earth is a beautiful Queen endowed with many treasures. The skies are her satins. The sun is her gold. The moon is her silver. The clouds are her pearls. The air is her crystal. The seas are her diamonds. The birds are her minstrels. The butterflies and the bees are her ladies-in-waiting. The flowers and leaves are her brocades. The earthworms are her attendants. We are the lords and the ladies of her court. If we do not respect Queen Earth, she will fall ill, and her treasures will tarnish or be lost forever. If we respect Queen Earth, she shares her treasures for all to glory in. Original Art by Angela F. Acrylic on Canvas. Oil is the life blood of the planet but at what cost? / The artist was inspired by a childhood toy called a “Glub Glub”

Montage / A composite of an oil pastel drawing and images of the landscape worked in Photoshop with blending and adjustments tools to get the tonal renderings and contrasts. Cracked Earth / The land is parched and dry and the dog looks to the sky for life giving rain. At dusk the air is cooler, a welcome relief from the heat of the day. / / Australia is ravaged by drought and the skin of the earth cracks and rips open. The land suffers in an impoverished ecosystem, lost to its natural state of wild bush and wetlands forever. The clearing of land, the cultivation and the chemical overload have wreaked havoc. Still there is no rain.

The mystical slopes of Forbidden Plateau on Vancouver Island BC, Canada, harbour a secret. Anciently it is said that an entire tribe of people who were pursued by their enemies, disappeared forever into the sacred mists high up on the plateau. A powerful legend that still thrives today. Part proceeds from this photograph help benefit the Prince Rupert Wildlife Rescue Shelter. Thank you for helping the animals.

I just adore Natural Rock. / The patterns, colors and shapes are all so individual they appear as an Art on their own. If not preserved the rock eventually turns to a very fine powder and all the Recognition is lost. No color enhancement used in this image. Rock Art Caring and Recognition for the Environment via Art
