  • The Compact Cassette, often referred to as audio cassette, cassette tape, cassette, or simply tape, is a magnetic tape sound recording format. Although it was originally intended as a medium for dictation, improvements in fidelity led the Compact Cassette to supplant reel-to-reel tape recording in most non-professional applications. Its uses ranged from portable audio to home recording to data storage for early microcomputers. Between the early 1960s and early 2000s, the cassette was one of the two most common formats for prerecorded music, first alongside the LP and later the Compact Disc. The word cassette is a French word meaning little box.

  • Based on the experiment in which a human ear was attached to a mouse’s back perfomed in the laboratory of Dr. Charles Vacanti at the University of Massachusetts in 1997. The study was done at the suggestion of a plastic surgeon who was interested in developing techniques for attaching ears in children who had external ear deformities or had lost ears in accidents. It was designed to serve as a model for tissue engineering. The mouse used for the study had a defective immune system so it was unable to reject the human tissue. The entire construct was then implanted onto the back of the nude mouse. The mouse nourished the ear as the cartilage cells grew to replace the fiber. The mouse remained healthy and alive throughout. / . / . / My focus here with this tee is where is all this going? I know there are positives that at first seem to appear to be great…but with great power comes great responsibility…and i ain’t sure we have got that bit yet in respect to genetic engeneering kinda stuff us human animals.

  • I love the Laughing Buddah so i decided to (try) do my own design, when my mum saw this she got a giggley and couldnt stop laughing, she said it was just cute funny and made her laugh….....haha i dunno why! haha Im going to try find the meaning of the Laughing Buddah in a minute, might come back here and copy & paste what he means….i know (or think) its to do with him helping the poor, feeding poor children food, and he symbolizes weath (i think hehe) Hey look i was sorta right! Wooo! The Laughing Buddha (also known as Hotei in Japan or Pu-Tai in China) is thought to be based on an actual wandering Chinese monk who lived at the time of the Liang Dynasty (907-923 AD). He is incorporated in Buddhist, Taoist and Shinto traditions. He is most often depicted with a large round tummy, laughing or smiling. He also sometimes carries a cloth sack which never empties. In this bag are sweets for children, food, precious items, rice plants etc. He is like a patron for the weak, poor and children and as well as giving it seems he takes away our woes and sadness. He symbolises good luck, contentment and abundance. He also sometimes carries a wishing fan, granting peoples wishes. In Feng Shui he is a symbol of wealth. He can be placed anywhere in your home, work or temple! (or probably more realistically on your altar). It seems a more recent addition, the idea that you can rub the Buddha’s belly to bring luck and wealth. This practice is not a part of Buddhist doctrine as such but more something that has evolved over time. Rubbing his belly or not, having this symbol around helps remind us that a prosperous, loving, giving life is possible on earth. So often we are convinced that we cannot have a plentiful and abundant life and live in balance. Well, the Laughing Buddha actually says you can! I got this info from This Website
