Storm clouds drift past after rain, and this charming stone cottage in the Southern Flinders Ranges is bathed in sunlight ,gleaming crisply on a bed of bright green pasture land / Taken with Fuji S2 Pro,Nikor 24-85mm @85mm Limited Edition 1 of 20
This was taken near Wandin East at the back of the Dandenong Ranges. I was driving around through the mist and got lost. As i was coming around a bend I looked out and saw this.
This is again, from a drive through the back roads of the Dandenong ranges in Victoria. I was just driving around and stopping to photograph things that caught me eye (I wound up lost too). This is a plot of land behind a farmhouse near Seville.
Shot this back in November, 2004, when the grass was much greener, and there was water in the dam. There’s only been water in that dam one other time since then, and it lasted around 6 weeks….this is a nice reminder of what we used to have…. Sold this a number of times pre-redbubble, mostly A3 size, and it won me a $1500 prize from the Brisbane City Council, as well the John Herbert medal at APSCON 2005, and also a number of other smaller prizes. This was sold december 2008 on redbubble as a matted print. In life as well as fishing it’s all about the journey! / As the sunrise burned through the fog early Sunday morning, on Clear Lake near Hunstville, Ontario, two fishermen enthusiastically set out for their favourite fishing spot… / This shot was as a result of an early morning walk in / August 2008 in the fog: part planning, part serendipity. I particularly like the fact that compared to a lot of fog shots it displays color, to I think, an advantage and shows the promise of a beautiful sunny summer day emerging… Nikon D40, Nikkor 18-55mm lens Top Ten Placement in the Nikon D40 Users, Masterpiece challenge, September 2009 / Featured in the Nikon D40 Users group, July 2009 / Top Ten in the Journey or Destination challenge for the First Things group, July 2009 / Featured in the Outsiders, March 2009 / Featured in Canada: The Great White North group September 2008 / Featured in the Nirvana group September 2008 / Avatar for Shots In The Fog group October 2008 / Featured in the ImageWriting group November 2008 / Featured in the 100% group. Saturday, October 4 – Geelong Waterfront Woke up early, real early, to take a few shots. Seeing as how it’s daylight savings tomorrow, i think this may be the earliest sunrise during the year (5.54am).

Early Evening In The Garden Of Good And Evil was shot at Elkington Park in Balmain, Sydney, in the company of millions of mosquitos and batches of bats. Since being Featured Art by Redbubble and in the Night Photography Group, this work has become one of my most popular images on RB. It is also one of the works I am most proud of, especially as I had no set shooting agenda before I arrived at the location of this magnificent tree, a favourite spot.
