My daughters kitty. We found her…..or I should say she found us a couple years ago. She was half starved and wandering around in the snow. So we took her and gave her love. She gives love back, but on her terms. lol
OH MY…...it’s bad enough these kids thinking I’m cute and cuddly or something…...but do you REALLY have to take my photo as well!! Featured in All Soft and Cuddlies!! group, RedBubble, June 2009 /
The long-eared owl has head feathers (known as ear tufts even though they are not ears) which it raises when alarmed. It is buff-brown with darker brown streaks, and deep orange eyes. It breeds thinly across the UK with fewer birds in the south-west and Wales. Northern birds migrate southwards, including birds from Europe coming to spend the winter in the UK.
Yapyap about to settle down for her afternoon nap…. Thank you for looking
A new book?? Yapyap seeing what to read next Thank you for looking !http://images-2.redbubble.com/img/art/backingcolor:white/product:greeting-card/view:preview/976359-1-in-the-library.jpg

Not really a stallion but it’s a more original title than ‘horse’, hehe. Will attempt to edit out the barbed wire tomorrow :) — Taken with: Canon 40D / Lens used: 2.8 100mm / Shutter speed: 1/400 / F number: 4.5 / ISO: 400
My long hair white cat hamming it up for the camera!
Tortoiseshell describes a coat coloring found almost exclusively in female cats. Cats of this color are mottled, with patches of red and black, chocolate, or cinnamon. They are sometimes called torties for short. The term “tortoiseshell” (also called calimanco or clouded tiger in North America) is typically reserved for cats with brindled coats that have relatively few or no white markings. Those that are largely white with red and black patches (rather than a brindled aspect) are described as tortoiseshell-and-white (in the United Kingdom) or calico (in the United States). Tortoiseshells and calicos are not specific breeds of cat. The tortoiseshell markings appear in many different breeds. This pattern is especially preferred in the Japanese Bobtail breed. A tee adapted from one of my early works. “I’m All Ears” was painted from a digital photograph of a family pet. / In this acrylic painting on canvas I wanted to capture the quirky posture of this curious calico cat. A sepia colored image of a horse leaning over a fence for a close-up portrait. Captured in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta, Canada; in the shadow of Crowsnest Mountain itself, you just can’t see the peak because the horse is blocking the shot. :-)
My first Bridal photo-session, getting ready for the real thing in March. Beautiful Oksana, a Ukranian born model, was kind enough to let me photograph her in her original wedding gown.
These three acrylic paintings, on 12” square x 3” deep box canvases, hang in our living room just above our phone. A small reminder! / Originally I was going to experiment with a visual concept of these “no evils” being ‘projected’ (as I believe they are psychologically) and tried projection lines through the holes in the golden shapes… just couldn’t make it ‘work’... but these paintings just quietly ‘project’ out their reminders all the time as they are.
