From fighting over the Hello Kitty, to rushing into the train before the passengers could get out.. I’ve lost count how many times Tim just wanted to kick these people rear for being a moron.. PS: don’t be fooled by the wings.. They’re just clip ons~ / cheeky lil Tim.. I love the Laughing Buddah so i decided to (try) do my own design, when my mum saw this she got a giggley and couldnt stop laughing, she said it was just cute funny and made her laugh….....haha i dunno why! haha Im going to try find the meaning of the Laughing Buddah in a minute, might come back here and copy & paste what he means….i know (or think) its to do with him helping the poor, feeding poor children food, and he symbolizes weath (i think hehe) Hey look i was sorta right! Wooo! The Laughing Buddha (also known as Hotei in Japan or Pu-Tai in China) is thought to be based on an actual wandering Chinese monk who lived at the time of the Liang Dynasty (907-923 AD). He is incorporated in Buddhist, Taoist and Shinto traditions. He is most often depicted with a large round tummy, laughing or smiling. He also sometimes carries a cloth sack which never empties. In this bag are sweets for children, food, precious items, rice plants etc. He is like a patron for the weak, poor and children and as well as giving it seems he takes away our woes and sadness. He symbolises good luck, contentment and abundance. He also sometimes carries a wishing fan, granting peoples wishes. In Feng Shui he is a symbol of wealth. He can be placed anywhere in your home, work or temple! (or probably more realistically on your altar). It seems a more recent addition, the idea that you can rub the Buddha’s belly to bring luck and wealth. This practice is not a part of Buddhist doctrine as such but more something that has evolved over time. Rubbing his belly or not, having this symbol around helps remind us that a prosperous, loving, giving life is possible on earth. So often we are convinced that we cannot have a plentiful and abundant life and live in balance. Well, the Laughing Buddha actually says you can! I got this info from This Website

As a personal journey of transformation continues to unfold, this “spinning wheel” that sits in our loft, takes on a whole new meaning as today for the first time I became a silent warrior… In the days of old, we spun sheep’s wool into yarn / to knit and weave for warmth and socks to darn Today, yarns are tales told with deceptive pride / as arrogant greed leads to superiority’s confide Threats full of fear with angry, envious undertones / as regretful voices of ego make sorrowful groans No feelings of inferiority as the truth rings in my ears / as the serenity and silence of light soon appears A benevolent nature to observe becomes a deep strength / as my voice remains silent with the lights’ wavelength A strategy of peace and a nonviolent stance / frustrates the angry opponent in this loving dance Guilt overtakes him, as I spin hopes’ energetic light / as a silent warrior of compassion, I will win this fight. tkrosevear 3/23/2009 The Buddha was the one who turned the wheel of dharma or ‘wheel of law’, in Tibetan tradition it is translated as the ‘wheel of transformation’. The wheels motion is a metaphor for the rapid spiritual change engendered by the teachings of Buddha. The wheel also represents the endless cycle of rebirth or samsara (sanskrit). Interestingly enough, another auspicious symbol of Buddhism – the hub symbolizing moral discipline, which stabilizes the mind and the spokes (usually 8) represent wisdom which is applied to defeat ignorance. The rim represents training in concentration, which holds everything else together. Dharma, literally translated means ‘that which upholds or supports’, while in Buddhist translations it means “higher truth” and/or “the ultimate reality of universe”. / The “WHEEL” in general, is one of the supreme symbols of cosmic momentum – the force that drives the planets and the stars – and of ceaseless change and repitition. Within all cultures, practices and beliefs this symbol is linked to the cycles of manifestation, birth, death and rebirth, the Zodiac, time and human destiny. Spinning Wheel
