An original painting rendered in Oil on canvas. It portrays a young girl, asleep, deep in a dream. She curls into her blue duvet and her feet are bare on the wrinkled sheets. I imagine her as still a child, dreaming of buttercup fields and white ponies, dreams of fantasy and freedom that only young girls dream of before she turns to being a woman.
Self portrait of me and my wife. Shot with a Contax G2 on a tripod with the camera set to timer.
A very nicely decorated bright blue child’s bedroom
He’s really not as cute as he looks. A slight move of your hand anywhere near him and he’ll pounce.

We all are happy to see our human son, Kevin when he comes home for the holidays. Of course, Molly is the one who tries to monopolize his attention / as she does everyone that she believes comes to visit only her. The duvet and shams on the bed were made by Charlie, Kevin’s father as a gift to him for his New York Apartment. Molly already received her duvet and shams for her birthday, but true to form she preferred Kevin’s and decided to sleep in his room with no objection from her “brother.” I captured a loving moment as the two enjoyed some alone time together. Molly usually cries when someone she loves (that includes everybody) leaves our house and this certainly was true of Kevin’s departure after the holidays. He has been gone for two years and we have yet to adjust, but with the help of our canine “children,” we are happy that Kevin has found a home-3,000 miles away. “The best way to keep children home is to make the home atmosphere pleasant and let the air out of the tires.” / Dorothy Parker (1893-1967)
My husband Charlie and I collaborate on choosing fabrics and integrating them into a montage of fabric pieces and appliques. Photographically I shoot a section of his work and enhance the details creating an art piece of a different character. Given the colors and intricate patterns, this piece reminded me of an elegant Japanese fan. I took several photos in this series in addition to other photos of fabric art including duvets, aprons shams, pillow cases, clothing, tote bags, pajamas and home decor. In the future I will photograph the entire piece when Charlie has his exhibition. If you have any questions about pricing of these beautiful and useful pieces please contact me. A percentage of all proceeds for my photography and Charlie’s creations are contributed to our wildlife and animal charities. As always I am interested in your projections on my “rorschach” abstracts. /
