  • Can there be anything more Dutch than a spring field with tulips? Tulips from Amsterdam? No, not yet! They were growing in the Noordoostpolder near Urk where I took this shot – just after having bought my new Nikon D80 two hours earlier at Urk. • Fritz, in our backyard, enjoying the first warm-glowing sun of the day.

  • Transformed beerbottle cap (Indonesian Beer Bintang, a daughter from brewery Heineken: in Holland they used to say canalwater compared to Belgium beer!), often i used these caps as an ash-trey in my studio but this can happen as well. In my zazzle shop you can find the same design showed on different models, colours and the backside printed with logo and instruction. Plus they print larger and their quality of printing is very good! And some others…

  • My good friend modelled for me, I had this funny idea with a gasmask.. / eventhough you can barely see what it is, I think it’s pretty ok. :-)

  • Digging in my archive I found this shot and thought it might make a bit of a change. The treeline stands along a road near Vreeland/The Netherlands. In the distance you can not only see a church tower (of the village of Loenen), but also a windmill. You can see the latter much better in the large version, between the fifth and sixth tree on the left. Near Vreeland, 26th December 2005, 10.52 am / Panasonic FZ10, 6-72 mm at 15 mm / F 4, 1/1000, ISO 50
