  • The Sydney Opera House during a particularly vibrant sunset.

  • This image was taken @ Port Willunga at the remains of the old jetty. On a recent journey back to Port Willunga recently, I’d noticed that many of these posts had been burnt. A fun stunt at the time I suppose :( Best viewed on a black background. Images from Australia / Architecture / Images from Japan / Sunsets / Water Scenes

  • This was taken at sunset at Appletree Cottage in Oakbank, Adelaide Hills, South Australia, Australia. It was taken in late autumn. This is an HDR shot. It was taken using a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera and 3 images merged in Photomatix Pro.

  • Last light, sunset, Mannum South Australia. It was just before dark driving along the River Murray heading towards Mannum and I saw the light through the willows lining the banks. Just had to stop for this shot.

  • Rainbow Rocks, a small bay near Southend, Limestone Coast South Australia. Favourite place to spend the last hours of the day as the sun goes down.

  • Taken in a Winter’s storm, last light at Grange Jetty, South Australia. The wind was wild. I managed to steady the camera with a tripod behind one of the pylons and with the shutter speed slowed down, caught the magic of the waves moving in the foreground. The sun shining through the jetty as I pressed the shutter, gives this image a sureal feel. / /

  • Last light again, looking South from the Causeway at Victor Harbor along the Esplanade across the ocean. Quite dark and brooding but available lighting was troublesome here. Canon 400D, HDR and adapted in Photomatix 2.5. Best Viewed large.

  • Last light, Meningie South Australia. A distinct lack of water in the lower reaches of the Murray – where this town jetty would normally have water around it. The stting sun lines up perfectly with this jetty each night.

  • Last light at Kalangadoo in the South East of South Australia. Another powerful sky being lit up by the setting sun. Ruins of old farm buildings in the foreground. Canon 400D, ND and Polarising filters.

  • Late evening sunset near Cowell on the Eyre Peninsula – South Australia. The highest thing on the road side where a small bunch of thistle heads that looked liked small palm trees sitting up into the sky. Canon 400D, 18-55 with CIR Polarising filter.

  • Wharariki Beach, Golden Bay, South Island of New Zealand. This was a magical place to be with a camera at this time of the day! Featured in: “Your Country’s Best” Canon 20D / Views: 200 / Favs: Just 8! Canon 20D

  • Arequipa, Peru Iglesia San Augustin !

  • Arequipa, Peru !

  • Late afternoon at Port Willunga South Australia. Looking out towards the setting sun through the remains of the Old Jetty structure. Not overly sure about the colours here, strange evening with orange red clouds and just dark enough to get a slight amount of motion in the foreground. Canon 400D, 18 -55 lens, CIR Polarising filter coupled with an ND4. Wet legs and a wet tripod, standing out in the water trying to avoid waves!!!!!!

  • taken on the Ocean Spring Harbor pier at dusk.

  • Another beautiful jetty in OZ – at a glorious time of day. / This is my postcard for all my friends at home…”Wish You Were Here!!” Canon 50D / Sigma 10-20 mm f/4.0-5.6 / Raw file converted FEATURED in SEA, August 2009 / FEATURED in Mornings/Evenings, November 2009

  • Milford Sound, Fiordland National Park, World Heritage Area, South Island, New Zealand Fuji S3 pro / 24-70mm nikkor lens / polarizer / grad grey / tripod This photo has been featured in: / A VIEW SOMEWHERE / SENSATIONAL SUN Click on images below to view

  • The light at dusk created this golden line of trees which were then reflected briefly in the water. / The River Murray, Mannum, South Australia Canon 50D / Sigma 10-20 mm

  • Last light across the Causeway at Victor Harbor South Australia. The Causeway links Victor Harbor with Granite Island and is often used by late evening walkers. Canon 400D, 17 – 85 lens, CIR Polariser.
