  • Wave Rock
    by Travis Easton

    US$4.66–US$106.40

As is the case with many of my shots there is a considerable time gap between finding a good location for an image and shooting it. I found this spot in March 2007 on an overcast day completely unsuitable for photography. I finally returned in November 2007 to capture the shot I had envisaged all those months before. On this occassion the light surpassed my expectations with the results being worth the wait. With the number of visitors and photographers that visit not only Wilsons Promontory but Pillar Point and Squeaky Beach in particular it amazes me that I have never seen this composition before. • Carved by Nature's Wrath
    by earthairfire

    US$5.65–US$129.20

Carved By Nature’s Wrath / The 12 Apostles, Victoria Following a day of torrential rain and gale force winds, the sun shone momentarily, lighting up the moody sky, before plunging the rugged coastline into complete darkness. As night falls, a solitary waterfall is all that remains of the passing storms, returning the much needed rain to the swollen seas of the shipwreck coast. • The Poetry of Chaos
    by Geoff Coleman

    US$4.99–US$114.00

This shot was taken in The Water Run on the Coastal Walk in Royal NP just south of Sydney Australia. It was a wild and stormy evening and the sun just started to emerge from the clouds behind me as it was setting. The blue tint to the water comes for a very short period around sunset – you can just see it in any moving water at this time in the right light but the camera really picks it up. Canon 30D / Tv: 1/6sec / Av: f/13 / ISO: 100 / FL: 28mm

  • Port Willunga Jetty
    by Elana Bailey

    US$5.32–US$121.60

This is Port Willunga Jetty in mono. Taken at Port Willunga, South Australia, Australia at sunset. I was going for a high key type image. This was taken on a tripod, no flash, f25, ISO 200, 1.3 sec exposure with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D. I was so fortunate to sell, on redbubble, a large mounted print of this work, with the white border and artist’s details, to a good friend.

This image inspired a collaboration with / chord0 / / His poem God’s love in Nature suite this image perfectly. God’s love in Nature / When slight and silenced, / With rumors of corollas and wings, / Is love that fills everything! / Have agitated waves / And the deep vertigo / Of the abyss and the distance. / Life and Death, eternal Love / Of pain and exuberance, / Keep me chained / To the light of his Word / And that sleeps at dusk / In the footprints of the plants. Please check his writings and gallery Bacara Beach in Santa Barbara, California during magic hour at dusk. The pier in the background is for the oil company use only, to load and unload personnel and supplies for the oil rigs in the Channel Islands passage. / Image was taken using HDR technique. —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-- / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-- /

    by Travis Easton

    US$4.66–US$106.40

Don’t usually go for the created image as such but I was mucking around the other day and did this simple edit of my most popular rb pic. I love how the clouds, sun and rocks combine to form a face. Hope you like it. For more shots from this area check out my Wilsons Promontory gallery. 10% of all profits go to the Wilderness Society

  • Sunset - Squeaky Beach
    by Travis Easton

    US$4.66–US$106.40

This shot was taken on Squeaky Beach at Wilsons Promontory on what I considered to be a fairly flat sunset. I had tried a few other shots on the rock platforms at the other end of the beach with limited results and as it was now getting very dark I was on my way back to the car. There was a limited orange glow on the horizon which wasn’t particularly arresting but from previous experience I thought the camera might ‘see’ the scene better than the naked eye. Large area’s of black silhouette in a frame I generally don’t like so I tried to balance that with the sea and sky with a fairly long zoom. The exposure was thirty seconds long, flattening the waves and intensifying the light and colours (velvia helps too). The end result was my favourite shot of the trip.
