This image was taken the other night on dusk I love the composition and the seagull in flight ..I am dissapointed in the lighting I need some help …suggestions..ideas on how to fix this image …please … I would normally not upload something at this stage I dont believe its good enough for portfollio but really like it and want some help to bring its true beauty out…PLEASE HELp

Amazing that such a cold morning can seem to warm in a photograph, all because of color and light….needless to say I was freezing when I shot this and cold tripods usually don’t tend to warm your hands up well lol / Captured at Cherry Creek State Park, Colorado

One of my favorite spots in the Sierra Nevada, Convict Lake is tucked into a beautiful canyon. At dusk the wind can pick up pretty good as it rushes over the mountains and through the canyon. The clouds literally change from minute to minute. The lighting is constantly changing as the sun drops behind the mountains as well. I tried to capture it the best I could.

The weather was really beautiful and ominous on that day. Everytime the sun would peek out I would drop everything and set up my tripod. This is Little Lakes Valley, Eastern Sierra, Ca and I’m still amazed that I live so close to someting so beautiful. This trail eventually ascends Morgan Pass and up into the alpine High Sierras. You can see them in the far background. Created from 2 exposures blended together.

Pike’s Peak as seen from Cherry Creek State Park reflects the Sunrise, a cold dad to be sure when I was shooting this, amazing to think that Peak is about 55 miles away as well! Processed in HDR, thoughts welcomed! / —-John

Captured high above Cherry Creek Reservoir outside of Denver Colorado, cosidering how cold it was, the warmth of the colors from the sunrise kept me a little on the warm side! The Marina lies empty below, awaiting Spring to return, which isn’t to far off I suppose. Anyways, I kinda lucked out on this shot considering I was standing on a 2 lane road with no pull off’s….thank goodness for no traffic! / —-John

Box Lake can be found in Eastern Sierra Nevada, California. It is in an area known as Little Lakes Valley. It is one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen. This is an HDR image.

London, View from the balcony of my friend’s flat Tosin in Stockwell, South London ! I have enjoyed so many weekends at my friend’s place for the last few years, listening music, watching videos or movies or having interesting conversation! / I love the view from his balcony with the famous Power Station on the background. / I remember when, one night, we were looking at the many buildings and windows and wondering how many people and stories were going on in that moment while we were enjoing a nice Rum and Coke!
