I was so excited to find this elusive still water reflection in Lake Dunstan. My Angels were certainly kind to me on this trip!

My GG Grandpappy, the son of John. He was a grocer, his father and other son coming up were public house landlords, or unlicenced vituallers – no licences in those days, I think!

You saw the wedding photo of the Dunstan clan c 1925, now here is the one that always makes me laugh – it’s so unreal. This is John and Alice, just after their wedding… signing the marriage resgister at the Church! :))))))))))

Taken while driving to Queenstown, this is Central Otago. In the rain shadow of the Southern Alps (behind me in this shot), Central Otago reaches near desert like levels of rain in the summer. Small pokets of green dot the landscape where farmers irrigate for the cattle. f/8.0 1/250sec
