  • November. Dundee Cemetery. On a big hill. / 35 degrees. Wind gusts here and there. My brother and I. Freezing our asses off. But we got this rad picture out of the deal:) It was a collabrative effort. So I cant take full credit for this. I just wanted to share it with everyone. So peaceful.

  • If you prefer:) Some people dig the Black and White…some like the color.

  • Closeup of a large metal compass on the top of Dundee Law, covered in raindrops.

  • The Law @ Doghouse. The band is ‘The Law’ who are record label mates with The View and due to hit big time in the UK early 2008. The ‘Girl In Guitar’ shot has not been photoshop’d in anyway at all…(ex to monochrome and bring out highlights) this is a 100% genuine shot, I was positioned (crammed in the bouncing crowd, no photo pit, camera outstretched) just the the left of the girl, with the other guy between us. The shot was a taken during a live performance, no set up, no planning at all. :-) I’d seen my reflection during the gig, and managed to capture the ‘girl’. For non-believers I’ll soon post the original colour shot.

  • The Tay rail bridge in Dundee, Scotland.

  • While out for an early morning walk with my dog the sky darkened and a thunder storm headed inland from the North Sea. This scene with the swans, poppies and moody light had to be captured on camera.

  • I took this photograph in 1975. Ayr United vs Dundee. This photograph was scanned from an original 30 year old 35mm negative and restored to remove dust and scratches

  • Dundee rail bridge- Shot in fog at dusk

  • River Tay, Dundee, Scotland – Taken at dusk in fog

  • This image was featured in Live, Love, Dream as well as the in the Spring in the North-East USA group in May 2009. Thank you all so much for the honor and for choosing my image. This was taken in Upstate New York When I was driving down Hwy 14A the other day, going to the vet mind you, I looked over and saw this view and lost my breath. I thought it was so beautiful. So on my way home, since I had to leave LeeLa at the vet, I took the advantage of being by myself and I always have my camera with me. I stopped and took so many photos of this view. Even the neighbors came out to see what I was doing…lol I could not pass it up. I thought it was so refreshing and breath taking. I could in no way capture the feeling of this view to see in person. I hope I captured some of it though. Canon EOS 350D, Rebel XT / As Is / / / / /

  • Little Dundee is the sole survivor from a very sad situation. His young mommy was the result of a backyard breeding….she had been in labor for a long time before her owners finally brought her in to a vet and dumped her saying that they could not afford vet bills. By that time she was so dehydrated that they had to hydrate her before they could do the c-section which she so badly needed. After that, mommy rejected the puppies and it was apparent that something was very very wrong….she tested positive for parvo and began bleeding out and there was just no saving her. So Dundee and his newborn siblings went to live with my dear friend who has much experience in fostering babies. But over the next week or so, one by one their mommy called them to be with her over on the other side of The Rainbow Bridge as the parvo attacked their newborn hearts. I think that his mommy did not want her puppies to be in the cruel/harsh world that she had known. Only Dundee was left behind. I told my friend that I think he is the gift that his mommy left behind for all the love and hard work that she had shown in trying to save them all.

  • The River Garry at Killiecrankie, near Pitlochry, Perthshire, Scotland. This shot was taken in June 2003 when the water level was really low. Killiecrankie (Gaelic: Coille Chneagaidh) is a village in Perth and Kinross, Scotland on the River Garry. It lies at the Pass of Killiecrankie, by the A9 road. In 1689, during the Jacobite Rebellion, the Battle of Killiecrankie was fought on the northern edge of the village. It was the first victory of the Jacobites – their Highland charge terrified and overwhelmed the British Government army under General Hugh MacKay in only 10 minutes. Donald MacBean, one of William of Orange’s supporters, having lost the contest, is said to have cleared the pass, from one bank to the other, at “The Soldier’s Leap”. Although it was a stunning victory for the Jacobites, it had little overall effect on the outcome of the war and with their leader dead (John Graham of Claverhouse, 1st Viscount Dundee (Bonnie Dundee) was fatally wounded at the very beginning of the battle), their forces were scattered at the Battle of Dunkeld the next month. An eponymous folk song commemorates the battle. A 1966 recording by The Corries was a pioneering use of the music video. BEST VIEWED LARGER Related shots can be found at: / Highland scotland.
