location: university of western australia, perth theme: reflects a scene from harry potter and the philosopher’s stone. photographer’s note: the moment i saw this, it reminded me straight away of the scene from the first chapter of the first book when professor dumbledore took out what looked like a silver cigarette lighter and used it to switch on and off all the street lights on privet drive where the dursleys lived. “Dumbledore turned and walked back down the street. On the corner he stopped and took out the silver Put-Outer. He clicked it once and twelve balls of light sped back to their street lamps so that Privet Drive glowed suddenly…” (pp18), taken from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling.
