Painting of a family of ducks on the pond I love the tree and the colors in the shadows
Shades of emerald and blue sapphire enhance the feathers of a Mallard Drake, but the water around him also has deep jeweltones.

Taken at the North Pond in Lincoln Park / Chicago, Illinois
I recently took a trip to a park located in the midlands of South Carolina to visit Swan Lake. This mallard drake was one of the many inhabitants of the park, and posed most proudly to have his picture taken for this work!
The mallard hen featured in this painting was so cute, swimming around a local pond and then climbing out to stand on this rock, observing the other swimmers nearby.
This is a photo I took of two ducks in a lake in the Rockerfeller Preserve in Ossining, New York. I love how the ducks seem to be following each other. As with all of my photos, all proceeds from the sale of this photograph go to the Multiple Sclerosis Research Center of New York, which is conducting research into the causes and treatments of multiple sclerosis, and is getting closer every day to a cure!
