/ Tobermory is a gorgeous little town on the northern tip of the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario. It’s harbor not only filled with luxury yachts but also with a lot of shipwrecks, which makes it a divers paradise. It’s part of the Fathom Five National Marine Park of Canada. Luckily for me you don’t have to dive to discover a few of the shipwrecks. Luckily because I spent to much time underwater once, without diving gear, and I’m not inclined to submerge myself for longer periods under water. ;) This beauty caught my eye when strolling along the shore, with the duck approaching, I had to hurry but I was just in time to capture it. This image is one of my most popular wallpapers on my wallpaper website and I hope it will make me proud here also. It’s been so long since I posted on the Bubble, I could be in a meeting introducing myself: “Hi, I’m Andy Mueller and I have not been on the Bubble in 6 days”. The other folks in the room clap their hands in amazement ….6 days? Wow …... So, let me dive right back in with yet another Duck image, dedicated to Mr. Bermingham! Yes indeed, I’m back my friend …... Some may think that these are Geese, but I truly believe them to be Farm Ducks or Pekin Ducks. My art with 1000+ views
This is another one of my favorite photo’s taken about 4 months ago.
Well, you may remember this little one from our backyard duck experience this year. He’s so cute I decided to go back and have another look, and came up with this rendition. I used a gradient brush background with lighting effects added to highlight the duck. I used the orton effect on the duck to make him soft. Everybody needs some lovin’, don’t they? Hope you like! I have just been featured in; The Urban Wildlife Group and The Nikon DSLR Users Group I went for a walk today over to the Forty Hall Estate in Enfield for a couple of hours and this beautiful male Mandarin Duck was gliding gracefully across the lake with his female in tow. I was so happy the way this one turned out. The weather was a little overcast but that gave a fantastic balanced light making the colour of this lovely duck stand out really well. I hope you like the shot and thank you so much for viewing my work, please come again soon.
