Result of Bush’s economic policy. Hunger In America From Science News, October 28, 2005 Hunger In America Rises By 43 Percent Over Last 5 Years The USDA report, Household Food Security in the United States, 2004, says that 38.2 million Americans live in households that suffer directly from hunger and food insecurity, including nearly 14 million children. That figure is up from 31 million Americans in 1999. Dr. J. Larry Brown, an authority on hunger, stated the following: “With this astonishing level of food deprivation in America,” Brown concluded, “we need President Bush to step up to the plate. If he now asks Congress to cut federal food programs, hunger will increase even further. We need the moral leadership to stem this crisis.” Full Text of the Article Hunger In America 2007 Statistics LIMITED EDITION PRINTS CLICK HERE

Immigration / MCN:C82-QGC1-2213 From Latina Lista Website: Immigrant detention is called “detention” because detainees are not being held for criminal charges. Immigrants are the only group of people in the United States that are routinely held in jail for civil offenses. Paradoxically, while immigrant detainees are held for lesser offenses, they can be held indefinitely, and they do not have the same legal protections, such as the right to free legal counsel, as people who have been charged with crimes. “The only benefit to America in maintaining prohibition [on drugs] is the psychic comfort we derive from having a permanent scapegoat. But why did we have to pick an enemy the warring against which is so self-destructive? We would be better off blaming our ills on celestial invaders flying about in saucers.” William F. Dear Journal: / There is something about the office of the Presidency of the United States that conjures up….well it kinda escapes me this time….I watched a video after a chance conversation with someone I just met, and probably will never see again, a happing happenstance about our lame ducky duckie duck President it seems old King Dubya Debacle was attending a “happening” one of his first and last singing debuts, here are the lyrics imagine that old homily of a chestnut song with a home down Texas Americana twang “Green Green Grass of Home” as sung by George Bush and the Busharoos: / “And there to meet me is my mama and my papa, down the Iane I look and here comes Barney, heart of gold and breath like honey; it’s good to touch the brown brown grass of home. / For there’s Condi and Dick, my old compadre, talking to me about some oil rich Saudi, but soon I’ll touch the brown brown grass of home. / That old White house is behind me, I am once again carefree, don’t have to worry ‘bout a crisis in Pyongyang. Down the lane I look, Dick Chaney is strolling with documents he’d been withholding; it’s good to touch the brown brown grass of home. / Yes, you’re all going to miss me, the way you used to quiz me, but soon I’ll touch the brown, brown grass of home.” / Yes a swan song from the head goose stepping goose master put that in your chuckle bucket and hear him hum….Do you know the way to Crawfordsville(?)….or “If I only had a brain.” / Peace.

I just received news that my submission to the Farewell 43 Project was accepted! Now, all I can hope for is that it will not only be published on the web, but in the book itself! I posted my 200-word message on Red Bubble, which you can see by clicking here. You can also see it online here. And, also on my blog here. (I believe in the power of three!) It took me a long time to write it and say what I needed to say. My fingers are still weak and my arms are still shaking because of how angry I was when I typed it. It was great therapy! I think this is a wonderful project and that everyone should participate! It does not matter whether you love him or hate him or are American or not…there is a place for everyone to leave a message! Check out my brief tutorial here, for more information. They are also accepting image submissions as well! Cheers! ~ b.chris Links: I Bleieve… [posted on Farewell43.com] / My Message to Dub-Ya [on Red Bubble] / My message to Dub-Ya [Blog Post] / How To Let Dub-Ya Know What You Really Think of Him!
