Colorful neighbor that I take pictures of …. often…... expressing her need for me to dry my hair

Shot this on daylight slide film to get the green sterile look of the dryers. These type of places are such good locations for quirky photoshoots.
I messed around with this for quite a spell. I thought green would win… but blue was better.
this is outside this old thrift store, the man that owns this seems really crazy, he has signs posted to “Hookers and Druggies” to stay away or hell “shoot you”. He doesnt seem to know how to spell, hes got a window that says vitage clothing. Hes also got a place across town that is what I believe to be apartments, one of the many signs he has there says “Theres no rehab for sex offenders, SNIP..SNIP..SNIP.” Needless to say I havn’t gotten the courage to go up there and start shooting yet. ;)

Do you know that it takes a month to repair a broken dryer? Ella eats five times a day, and plays in sand twice a day. Oh, I so wish we had a backyard…

This huge rack system is where the clothes would have been dried in this asylum. The racks roll out on giant wheels, and after the clothes have been hung over the rails they would be rolled back into the room which would be kept heated to dry the clothes.

These blue bumpy balls are use in your clothes dryer in place dryer sheets to control static cling. They actually work quite well, but are noisy. I think they make a neat macro/texture photo. MY BUBBLESITE

Laundroart.
Been doing lots of portraits lately. This was taken at “ABC Teralba Laundromat”. Thanks to my gracious model, Kim.
Another shot from the shoot last week at the Laundromat. I tried something a bit different with the processing on this one.
Can’t live without it.
