    Already in drought conditions, Adelaide has now experienced 13 consecutive days with temperatures between 35 and 40 degrees C, and a few more to come yet :o( Taken near Mt Pleasant in the Adelaide Hills, 10th March, 2008.   • It may look as if the theme is the same as in Global Warming but it’s not. This painting predates the other one about 10 years. A dark time had come to pass and friendship, love and compassion had brought me back to life and colour.   • These New Holland Honey Eaters built a nest in our garden and show their young where to find water.

  • This used to be the bed of a lake that was formed by the Emerald Dam and the Avalanche Dam in the Nilgiris, India. After 2 years of no rain, vast areas of the reservoir have dried up, leaving only small trickling streams of water where there once was a lake. This year, the rains are expected on time.
