  • Kerry Hodge / Country Singer & Songwriter (Leeton, NSW) Kerry is a true blue Aussie bushman who began singing and writing country music at a young age, winning his first talent quest at twelve years old. In 1977 Kerry wrote and recorded a song about the great pacer Paleface Adios, and performed it live on pay television in 2002. Between 1999 and 2001, he competed in the worlds richest singing competition at the Marrickville RSL Club, making the semi finals each year. Out of 2000 entrants he was placed into the final 12 each time. Kerry has performed with some of the best country singers in Australia, including Gordon (The Pub with No Beer) Parsons, Lee Kernaghan, The Wolverines and many more. Kerry has performed and won awards at The Tamworth Country & Western Music Festival, The Parke’s Jamboree and received a special award from Nashville Tennisee for his compositions. ‘The Singing Hodge Family’ won best group in Tamworth with the song ‘Amazing Grace’. Kerry held a residency at the Mandurama Hotel (NSW) for 2 months in 2003, where the publician recognised his talents and financed Kerry to purchase equipment in order that he could continue to perform live and record CD’s. Kerry can be regularly found busking around Sydney, performing his umbrella balancing act while playing his guitar. A street performer through and through, Kerry is always ready with an Aussie quip and joke.

  • Sometimes people have to forget about their reality and find that warmth and comfy pillow that is alcohol. And sometimes it can be a slippery slope that you sit in and enjoy the ride. Let the breeze flow through your hair. Swing around that street sign. Ride the high that is the adrenaline pumped risk of placing your life in the hands of your drunken friends as they race you in a trolley. / Why this looks like a fine mode of transport, I’ll hop in. / But beware the gutter. Bringer of doom. Lover of litter.

  • This guy was so danged funny. He was part of a reenactment during Calfornia Gold Rush Days, located in Old Town Sacramento, California. The whole lot of the actors were drinking what appeared to be big bottles of Whiskey, however I found out afterwards that it was really iced tea. How do I know? I couldn’t smell booze on his breath! When his eyes bulged out into gigantically large orbs, we found ourselves laughing deep from the gut! The funniest part was that when I went out later that same evening, taking some evening photos of Sacramento’s Golden Bridge. I heard a voice call to me andsure enough, there he was! My immediate response to him was, “Wow, you look sort of normal!” His friends got a big kick out of that and soon started to joke with him, saying that he was anything but normal! Heck, what is normal anyway? Here’s looking at you friend, if you ever see this picture!!

  • I left my camera alone for an hour, and this what happened..drunky!
