  • Watercolor effect This is my brother Michael playing on New Year’s Eve with his band, The Jallah Richards Band. The band consists of two 16-year-olds, a 19-year-old, & a 20-year-old, but you wouldn’t know it from listening to them – they’re pretty darn good!!!

  • They played without pause..they played so beautifully that one heard not only rhythm but also melody…. The lyrics of the song sounded a lttle like : / VIEW ME LARGER….VIEW ME LARGER…

  • Felt pen on heavy cardboard.

  • While I was watching the little Winged Ones on the deck this morning and taking some shots, all of a sudden, this beautiful Flicker landed on the railing, went down to the feeder, grabbed a seed, sat for a moment and was gone….thankfully, I had the camera on and ready and got a few shots of him…. I was so touched by his visit, as Flicker is my main totem in this life…..he is a member of the Woodpecker family….the Drummers…..awakening New Rhythms and brining rapid Growth and Trust when he appears…..I so understood this….. I had only a brief, fleeting moment with him and I felt so extremely blessed….a precious gift from Spirit. Estes Park, Colorado

  • I had the pleasure of watching Rick (photo’s subject) do is thing with his drums at Fiasco Bros. Recording Studios last week. Rick allowed me to take shots of him while he layed down tracks for a cover song project. Playing around with various Photoshop filters I ended up with this creation, which easily spawned the title “Rythum In Blues”. The track Rick was drumming to is a cover version of Led Zepplin’s “Achillies Last Stand” with vocals by the fabulously talented (and dear friend) Susan Kovaks. Project produced by Len Osanic Led Zepplin Soundtrack video / Link provided by Redbubbler David Clark ACHILLIES LAST STAND / It was an april morning when they told us we should go / As I turn to you, you smiled at me / How could we say no? With all the fun to have, to live the dreams we always had / Oh, the songs to sing, when we at last return again Sending off a glancing kiss, to those who claim they know / Below the streets that steam and hiss, / The devils in his hole Oh to sail away, to sandy lands and other days / Oh to touch the dream, hides inside and never seen. Into the sun the south the north, at last the birds have flown / The shackles of commitment fell, in pieces on the ground Oh to ride the wind, to tread the air above the din / Oh to laugh aloud, dancing as we fought the crowd To seek the man whose pointing hand, the giant step unfolds / With guidance from the curving path, that churns up into stone If one bell should ring, in celebration for a king / So fast the heart should beat, as proud the head with heavy feet. Days went by when you and i, bathed in eternal summers glow / As far away and distant, our mutual child did grow Oh the sweet refrain, soothes the soul and calms the pain / Oh albion remains, sleeping now to rise again Wandering & wandering, what place to rest the search / The mighty arms of atlas, hold the heavens from the earth The mighty arms of atlas, hold the heavens from the earth / From the earth… I know the way, know the way, know the way, know the way (x2) Oh the mighty arms of atlas, hold the heavens from the earth.

  • Harvey looks at times angry. At times, he looks like he is in agony. Actually, he is just totally immersed in his drumming. Harvey is one half of a two-man British group, the other being guitarist Ben, called “Etc”. They performed last night (30 November 2008) at The Esplanade open air theatre in Singapore. I actually met Ben on the way there. He was asking directions from the bus driver and I figured he was going to The Esplanade, so I offered to show him the way. He asked why I was going there and when I said I was going to watch a music concert, to my surprise he said: “I’m performing”. The other thing that surprised me was how much noise this duo could make! Their performance was, at times, very LOUD! – with Harvey driving a mean tempo. You can hear that he is a good drummer. You can see it too! —
