These two drummers are members of the Hastings District Highland Pipe Band. I made the photograph during a performance on the 2008 Australia Day celebrations on the Town Green in Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia. I love The Policeand and Stewart Copeland is, to my mind, the greatest living drummer in the world (although Phil Collins comes a close second – sorry Phil) ... his talent is awesome. / This is taken from the poster for ’’The Police Raid Madam Wong’s’’ live broadcast on May 18th 1979. Bently Bull is the skilled drummer of the band Farmyard Rock. / Bently formed the band with his best friend Cowboy Horse on guitar. Steady headed as the band leader, Bently goes wild once he’s sitting at his drum kit.

Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery The Drummer I wanted to share these wonderful statues of The Hares that take pride of place in the City of Dublin, Ireland. As well as The Drummer, I have included Nijinsky, Acrobats and The Thinker. Created by Barry Flanagan, the Hares (not bunnies), are made from bronze and were installed in O’Connell street in the City of Dublin on the 20th May 2006, to publicise the reopening of the Hugh Lane Gallery on Parnell Square. here sits the drummer..waiting to start his song…. / this consists of several layers in photoshop and started with a new blank image. / first started with the blank image..added a little “fog” and changed it blue to to create the night sky… / then … / I added the grass, native figure sitting….the drum in front of him… / and the sandwoman in the background…changed her blend mode to luminosity / and set the opacity to 25%..then I merged the layers.
