Shot in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Women in veils, a common scene even in the cities of Rajasthan. They were singing songs and one of them was beating the drum. As I passed by the door I was surprised it was these ladies who were singing, professional artistes yet in veils! It was a strange contrast at that time, me jeans clad welding a camera and they behind their veils. Just this glimpse, and I had to move on. We were not permitted to enter the room, it was in the Udaipur City Palace premises. I did take a couple of shots more zooming in, but like this one better with the doors on both sides and the lock hanging,
