I thought this format would be idea for cards, but possibly it will work for prints as well.
I did this image years ago and it’s one I’ve wanted to offer as a T-shirt since I first did it. Enjoy Created from my original sketch using GIMP
A pencil drawing of a tree spirit on smooth cartridge paper
Stonehenge, Wiltshire, UK. The prehistoric site dates back to 3100 BC. I drive past it regularly and it never fails to impress.
The ancient stone circle at Callanish on the Isle of Lewis in The Outer Hebrides is over 4,000 years old and one of the oldest such structures in the world. Though smaller than Stonehenge it is considerably older and is awe-inspiring to visit. Normally seen in sunshine, here we have a photograph taken beneath an umbrella as a storm passsed overhead giving this magical place an altogether unworldly quality.
Old, bearded man looks directly into the viewers soul.
A Jungian mandala print from one of my canvas originals. The centre butterflies symbolize the soul growing and transforming and protected by unicorns (symbolizing magic, innocence and myth). Guardian angels watch over the transformation night and day. This is just one of my many mandalas. They are created from meditation and often paint themselves – I just wield the brush! The mandala is a tool for growth and spiritual connection and I am pleased to offer my first image :) All images are fully copyrighted, all rights reserved. Bright Blessings / Marg
ORIGINAL $300 plus postage and handling This mandala was created after a big breathwork meditation in which I felt the spirits of my grandmothers and greatgrandmothers all the way back to prehistory reach out to me. It was a time of crisis for me and to feel the essence of my maternal history with me, I was able to pass through and come out the other side relatively whole. The mandala symbolizes the presence of my foremothers all the way back to prehistory. The horses symbolize power and freedom. The all seeing eye is open to the wisdom of the past and the challenges and opportunities of the future. The colours are the colours of the earth, the sky, the wind and the rain. It is a powerful meditation tool linking my present with my past. Enjoy:) From the original acrylic on canvas, 20 inch x 20 inch All images are fully copyrighted, all rights reserved. ORIGINAL FOR SALE $400 plus P&H From the original acrylic and mixed media on canvas. Iris is the goddess of rainbows and symbolises hope and beauty. Her presence amongst the passion flowers and butterflies represents freedom from fear; transformation from the mundane and joy in life. The triple moon symbol symbolises the connection with the triple goddess. All images are fully copyrighted, all rights reserved.
The Maiden, The Mother and The Crone From the original acrylic on 100cm x 100cm canvas. Metallic and glitter overlays… I started this mandala the week before one of my close girl friends was diagnosed with lung cancer and finished four months later – the week after she died. It was a hugely cathartic work and the three phases of the goddess reflect the changes in me over the years. I have been the warrior maiden; mothered my child and have entered into the spiritual crone phase of my life… This is a work in progress. Every year I add something to the picture as it reflects my journey through this life. Bright Blessings to all:) all rights reserved mt2008 !!

Acrylic with metallic and glitter overlays on gallery wrap canvas, 40×40cm I should be feeling fantastic, my spirit should be soaring – instead I find myself earthbound and full of pain. Having stupidly broken my toe on Monday (the first broken bone ever), and being unable to take pain meds I just feel like crap. So I paint. This is for my sons girlfriends 18th Birthday and the symbology is clear (well, to me anyway) – but you can add your interpretations please:) Its also based in the song that I played a lot: INXS – Afterglow: “Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow / Heal me from all this sorrow / As I let you go I will find my way when I see your eyes / Now I’m living in your afterglow…” reproduced in part all credit and copyright of these lyrics belong to INXS
Over the years, a variety of people, cultures, and species have been given credit for the building of Stonehenge. Some of the most legendary figures trying to take responsibility have included: / Giants: According to old myths, dancing giants were caught in a sunbeam and petrified to stone, causing the monument to be nicknamed the “Giant’s Ring”. The stones were also believed to have healing power. / Merlin and King Arthur: Some believe Merlin himself assembled Stonehenge to commemorate slain chieftains. It’s also rumored that the Sword in the Stone, which would eventually lead Arthur onto the throne and into legend, was made from Stonehenge Stones. / Aliens: Most of the world’s earliest and most elaborate crop circles are found within a forty-mile (64km) radius of Stonehenge. Scientists today are unable to replicate crop circles, suggesting that their construction and that of Stonehenge should perhaps be credited to a more intelligent species. / Atlanteans: According to Plato, the Kingdom of Atlantis controlled the islands of the Atlantic and built many stone structures to better predict future events based on astronomical calculations. Given the fate of Atlantis, which supposedly sank into the sea, it’s debatable how accurate their predictions could have been. / Druids: John Aubrey, a Stonehenge scholar, erroneously suggested this connection three centuries ago. The Druids are an earth-based faith that we now have formed much later than the building of Stonehenge. The Druids do celebrate the summer solstice, same as Stonehenge’s true builders, and they have recently made it a tradition to incorporate this ancient monument into current rituals. / The Beaker Folk from 2500 BC are believed to have done some of the work on Stonehenge. They were an aggressive culture that invaded the Salisbury Plain. From artifacts, we know that the Beakers were sophisticated, organized, understood mathmatics, worshipped the Sun, and celebrated the solstices. This makes them ideal builders for some of the site. / The other cultures that contributed to Stonehenge remain a mystery, though archaeologists are getting closer and closer to finding answers. This is a photograph of a full scale replica of Stonehenge that was erected as a WWI memorial by Sam Hill, in Maryhill, WA which overlooks the mighty Columbia River and Mount Hood. The photograph of the Full Moon was also taken by myself in October 2008, the two were merged and edited in photoshop7 with Redfield plug-in for the rippled water effect. Stonehenge

DUNINO DEN / Dunino village in Fife has been a sacred ritual area for thousands of years. The path to Dunino Den starts at the Parish church which itself was built on the site of a stone circle. Rocks from the destroyed circle were used in the building of the church and its surrounding walls. In the graveyard there is a 3 ft rectangular stone which has a 17th century sundial carved on its uppermost face. It has become local custom to place a coin on the sundial for luck, and at any given time the upper face is completely covered in weathered coinage. Follow the path down the side of the church and you will discover a raised rock promontory jutting out over the Kinaldy Burn in the manner of a pulpit. Carved into the solid rock of this natural platform is a circular well which, folklore has it, was used by the Druids to conduct rituals involving human sacrifice. The well was a repository for the victim’s blood and the bodies were thrown to the burn below. Next to the hollowed basin there is also a footprint carved in the rock which hints at initiation into some kind of secret order or perhaps a sign of Kingship. A series of steps cut from the rock descend through a gorge leading to the Den proper, a natural amphitheatre. On the rock face at the foot of the steps is a Celtic Knot carving. The centre of the Den is marked by a Clootie Tree where pilgrims and travellers have left various rags, candles, dreamcatchers, wind chimes etc as offerings to the spirit of the Den or to ask that a wish be granted. Moving to the far side of the Den, one will find a 10ft Celtic cross carving on the cliff wall and near to that, a Celtic trinity symbol. / a bit o info i discovered aboot a pictish site i discovered while walkin the dugs years ago an went back for a visit this summer..its agreat place an there was some standin stones there as weel but unfortunatly as was so often the case in times when christianity was bein punted aroond scotland there were churches built oan the pagan sites an the auld ways were destroyed forever ..whit a shame…i applied some soft focus tae give it an atmosphere jist in case ye thought i hud made an arse o it /
