  • Can you see the creatures within?

  • The banks of the very empty Eildon Reservoir.

  • I honestly tried to upload an image that was bright and happy as I honestly am not a brooding type of person. Message to self: Go out and take vivid colored images LOL.

  • Another shot taken around the Jackson oilfields in South West Queensland. I caught the afternoon light just at the right time.

  • As I was designing this image, the hot colours of the fractal reminded me of the severity of the drought our land has been going through for so long. The sadness of the dry land…farmers hopes evaporating as the rains are never enough…at least here in the Western part of Australia. When living in the UK I never thought I’d get tired of blue skies….how wrong I was.

  • The silence of the Australian bush was broken by a harsh crack and then a deafening crash, as this branch, once full of life, growth and vitality gave way to the the effects of the prolonged drought and the ravages of time and weather, and fell to the ground, unseen.

  • I love love love the grasses on the Australian coast. They sit like great survivors in the drought strewn landscape. These are on top of a cliff walk at Blairgowrie back beach Mornington Peninsula. Their colours range from that perfect golden brown to a sandy white. They whisper sweet nothings which is really quite something…lovely.
