  • Tear...
    by Antanas

    US$3.42–US$28.50

ABOUT MY EXHIBITION The woks exhibited represent the linkup of two artists, a photographer and a sculptor. Such an attempt to blend two spheres of art is really innovative and a bit unexpected. There had been few who were successful in such an attempt. Both authors, blending their art by the means of the photo art, are the winners. Sculpture, as such, is rather a static art, sometimes “performing” in a specific, sometimes artificial, environment. However, the means of the plastic photography, seemingly, make the sculptures movable, dynamic; they make you feel the sculptures are moving. They become alive, start moving and react both to the environment and the views captured by the photographer. I would like the viewers also note the colour solutions of the photos, aimed at the strengthening of the overall impression of the imagery. The original blend and overlapping of two arts let see the impressive plastic metaphors, giving birth to various associations. / /

  • COMMUNION
    by micmac

    US$3.42–US$91.20

Everytime I was washing the dishes in front of my window I kept looking at that fantastic scene .The snow had covered all the roof and at the same time my window ,it was completely dark ,until the snow began to melt .What a sight but I had to remove the icy snow with my hand and push inch by inch the window to open enough so I could go through the small window and take some shot .You should have seen me ,all wet and very happy of my idea. / I called it «communion» because ,at first the two icesticks were just one and melted until they got separated but it looks like they are reaching to get together again. The drop is the communion between them,a« metaphore» but for me it was magical. It’s like the time is suspended….. /

  • I would like to thank Waking Dream- Author: Robert Dye http://www.redbubble.com/people/robartdye/writing/1006181-waking-dream#comment-4176075 These dreams etched within a winding wrinkle, / I wake to feel the fleeting visions faintly linger, / Like the vague crescent white of the moon, / Dissipated against the brilliant blues of day. / So curious to know this other realm of consciousness, / That’s plucked from the branches of reality, / Like leaves slipping away with rushing winds, / Descending into currents of so many wild streams, / Soaking their dried veins, increasingly saturated, / Drowning their bodies into the rough, grainy silt. / The weight of water oppressing once precious, / Fragile blossomed memories of towering trees, / Burying them into the ever deepening, dark mud. / All of these once thriving sprouts of existence, / From deterioration become recycled, regenerated, / To the miniscule shreds of minerals and nutrients, / Which await extraction by other far reaching roots. / While in the slumber of the cold, barren, windblown tree, / I wonder, does it dream and long to be anew, full and free?

  • September Rain
    by Adriana Glackin

    US$5.70–US$152.00

Ok, I admit, I made it rain on the poor spider’s home. Not only did I chase it, but I flooded it’s home with water from spray bottle. I couldn’t wait for the real rain to fall, in case the spider’s web disappeared. All I’ve done to the image is brighten it up and place a slight little frame around bottom edge.

  • Light vs. Dark
    by silverdew

    US$3.48–US$92.72

Another picture from my peacock feather series. I really enjoy the play of darks and highlights in this water droplet… it seems like a little war is being waged inside the drop… the forces of good and evil… the forces of light and dark… (I have an imaginative mind, don’t I? lol) I hope you enjoy this piece! • Let there be light...
    by Basia McAuley

    US$3.42–US$34.20

I finally bought a simple macro lens for my new camera and this is my first official macro shot I’m adding. This is actually tiny (about 3-4cm or just over 1 inch) dried up piece of twisted grape vine I picked off the fence with a water drop which was reflected by the sun. It’s definitely different to my usual work but why not?! It reminds me of a lantern..
