I took this photo in my backyard after the rain today. I think it worked well as the flower seems to jump out from the contrasting blurry green background. Hope you all like it.

It’s Easter today and my mom stopped over early to give these to me, I took a picture of them to make them last forever. Today is a beautiful sun shiny day, the sky is so blue with puffy white clouds. Well I better get busy and put the Ham in the oven….............Happy Easter !!!!!!

Small droplets clinging to a web found in the base of an old fig tree. If you look close enough you can even see the little bug running up the web, also covered in dew!

A colorful droplet splash that reminded me of a candy store.

I had the pleasure…for the second weekend running…..of the irrepressible Greame Pettit. I asked him yesterday if he was up for ‘not quite stupid’ o’clock. / He said he was and as sure as eggs is eggs he met me at the boathouse on Thornton reservoir at 6am…..I was just lining up a shot and cursing because my remote release had finally given up the ghost when he came oooh ahhh thricketing out of the early morning light…..this is one of my best efforts of the morning.

water droplets splashing, some of the droplets were shooting out at a different angle while others were dropping down and this was the result when they crashed. It’ll never happen again LOL. I might crop out the big droplet that’s falling…I can’t make up my mind :) / /

A falling water droplet in the sun…....It was pure luck ! :)

Title says it all :) There was a huge pile of leaves to choose from and I found this one on top of the heap. I never took closeups of leaves before so I discovered something I never realized before…....The colored shiny sides of the leaves held little or no droplets and the back sides of the leaves held all of the tiny droplets perfectly. Never knew that :)

This shot was taken on the streets of Paris (yes a lot of my images are from my trip, I just saw too many beautiful things not to share). In this shot the Cherub seems to be alone or lost, and the falling drops from the fountain above I thought were like Angel Tears, tears for the little one they couldn’t find.
