  When I was 22 years old, sometime in the 60’s, I was lying on my bed during a rainy day and heard the consistant sound of rain drops as the beginning line indicates. It was so consistant that I was motivated to jot down my impressions of how this sound made me feel. This little ditty was the result. This is a copywrited work.
