This vibrant dahlia is not for sale and is part of the “Canby Dahlia Test Garden” at Swan Island Dahlia in Canby, Oregon. They are about 2 miles from my home and I spend most of my August there. They are just now starting to come to full bloom. The best part is everyone has dahlia’s and can be photographed very easily. I even have about 7 or 8 varieties in my own yard. An original photograph of a gladiola flower with morning dew saturating it’s petals. The background was cut out and replaced with a freehand paint brush creation in Photoshop CS3. The flood filter was added last to bring it all together.
