A macro shot of dew droplets formed on a blade of grass
this is the results of a foggy moring
I know there is no shortage of rose photography here (or anywhere), but I had so much fun taking these pictures last night that I really wanted to share them! This one is straight out of my camera – no editing. I was tempted to play around with it but it feels refreshing, and vulnerable, to do nothing to a photo.

Dew-drenched dandelion seeds.
Hosta leaves with the remainder of yesterday’s afternoon shower. The color and texture just shouted “take my picture” . . . so I did!
falling off the ice plant the raindrops from the little autumn downpour! I am thinking this is my once in a Blue Moon shot!! I have been experiementing recently with different programme buttons this was using the P program no tripod and a lot of waiting for the drops to start moving down – I didn’t expect this though! During breaks in the rain, my son and I were pretending that these branches were umbrellas. After we had finished we placed them on the ground. When I came back later there had been another shower and on top of the leaves were these gorgeous big rain drops (I really wished I had my macro at the time- should be arriving anyday now :D). Taken using my Canon 300D with a 18-55mm lens.
Another shot from a few years ago, this was my first attempt at a rain drop shot, and this is what I got, I hope you like it, please look at in larger view to see details. Thanks so much for commenting and viewing I really appreciate it!!!! =)smile / / /

A tiny drop of water on a new shoot on my strange pink plant that starts pink and turns green…very cool.

Just a tiny drop of water in a twist of sweetpea tendril reflecting the colors of the flowers beneath….having fun with my new macro lens and lighting….amazing how just moving a lamp an inch of two can change all the reflections.
Love the reflection and the color in this one…it goes well with Summer Pendant.
leaves of my Daphne plant after the rain to achieve this effect I darkened it aas much as possible in the tuning and then kept adding light to get this look .
