Ok, I admit, I made it rain on the poor spider’s home. Not only did I chase it, but I flooded it’s home with water from spray bottle. I couldn’t wait for the real rain to fall, in case the spider’s web disappeared. All I’ve done to the image is brighten it up and place a slight little frame around bottom edge.

I’m really sorry but I had to take down the original image. Blame it on copycats stealers and abusers :-( Go here if you’re still interested in a print: http://www.deviantart.com/print/2029545/

I took this photo outside my house in Wellington right after it rained. I was amazed to see how perfect the drops sat on the grass. The focus is clearly the big bright drop that’s slightly off-centre accompanied with a group of few little random ones around it. :-)

Reversed 50mm macro shot of a blade of grass with dew drops on it. I tried to utilize the narrow DOF by maintaining focus on only a single droplet to emphasize its presence. Thanks for taking a look. Best Viewed LARGE

I found this piece of grass outside in the rain and couldn’t resist to take a photo, it just appeared so delicate in the rain.

Rains drops on a blade of grass after a down pour.

It seems impossible that a tiny blade of grass can hold onto such a fat, juicy droplet of water, and yet it does with ease.
