A drop of water spills from a flower bud in the Owen Rose Garden. Summer 2008.
The sun is still not strong enough to evaporate this little droplet of goodness. Resting precariously on a blade of grass, as if poking out its beak for a taste, waiting for the creatures beneath to brush past for their morning shower / /
Cute lil ladybug! I really don’t have much to say about this one. I was actually taking some other shots in my garden when this lil cutie scampered up upon a petal and sat there watching me :giggle: Perhaps he was jealous and wanted to be part of the action! / S/he was so small, barely the size of the tip of my lil finger :D © SilverDew All comments are welcomed and appreciated. After the rains I ventured in the garden again and found this gem when photographing the Inca lilies. I love this one as it has a sparkle on the droplet and orange is also my favourite colour. Enjoy Canon EOS450D / ISO 400
MMM… I just want to eat that rose…hehe…
Rolling around in the grass all day paid off, haha..
I said I wasn’t going to do anymore dandelions for a while… but as I was going through my old files I found a bunch that I forgot about. Haha… so enjoy!

Something kind of old…ish that I found on my hard drive. I remember trying to hold the camera with one hand and trying to hold up the single dandelion seed against the sky with the other. Haha, it was kind of difficult. I don’t like using tripods! Anyway, Enjoy!
These lovely droplets are making a statement on the petals! / It is like they are portals to another world in the garden / If you look closely you can see droplets o the leaves inside the big drops. Awesome! Canon EOS 450D

This was one of the most brilliant rose I had ever seen. Such a wonderful blend of color. / /
Canon EOS 500D / Sigma 70MM Macro My famous pink plant again…this was just a touch over exposed but I actually like how soft it turned out. Hope you like it too! /
I had a major break through with my camera today (you may not be able to tell but…I really did lol) and I’m very happy that this rose petal was involved. My Aunty planted the roses before she passed away AND against all odds they are still alive – I have no green thumb (in fact more like a black thumb)! Anyway, this is called Heaven’s Rose for obvious reasons. Cannon ESO 1000D / Cannon 50mm macro lens Droplet on a rose petal – in my garden / Kardinya W.A
