Rain clouds at sunset in the Arizona desert.

I’d driven from the scottish borders to ben nevis, (the highest peak in uk) to meet some damp friends through low cloud and light rain…so the few shots I took were pretty glum and dismal looking….. But after slight tweaking I liked the wetness of this classic sight with every blade of grass just laden with moisture and the light rain still falling… Typical camping weather! / / View large to see in full ‘soggy-vision’ ... ;))

We only had one day of rain during our vacation at Prospect Lake, Bracebridge Ontario. We can’t complain!

I was actually just driving by this field when I looked over and saw this old motorhome parked there. I thought it would make an interesting image. I thought it neat how everything was packed up… even the picnic table was packed and the power lines to the power pole were cut. The thick fog really added to the loneliness of the image. I hope you like. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography

I took this one a few weeks ago. It was lunchtime and it was just raining slightly but in the distance the rain was falling heavily- that’s why you can’t see the land – it’s not fog – it’s the incoming rain…... but the IR still worked..lol

After 4 days of working and/or feasting I was determined to disappear quietly and go out for a quick photoshoot. I had no plan. Just my D200, 12-24mm lens and tripod. The night was humid, a little drizzle but warm…I covered a bit of ground, eventhough I started pretty late. / / / This little street is right next to another little street that is a wet market. I just loved the array of colours here. An image that says Hong Kong to me….. Photo Taken: 31-Oct-2007 / Time: 11:00pm / Conditions: Drizzle humid night / / / / / / / Some other art taken in Hong Kong: / / / / / / /

Arches at the ruined Whitby Abbey. It was a cold wet drizzling day and I had the place practically to myself. The woman in the distance was taking a photo of the same view from the other side.

Had some time to waste yesterday (Thursday, 03.07.08) while the other half was working. He said go to Pelican Park and take some pics of . . . pelicans. Of course, what else?! Took a bit of finding (I get horribly lost at the drop of hat) and then I had to wait for it to stop drizzling. Finally . . . I took about 25 – 30 pics. This is one of them. Every now and then, the pelicans would move in a hurry, coming down to land with a splash. They didn’t seem to stay in the one spot for very long. I found out why . . . and you will, too, if you go to the next pic! LOL I’ve tried playing around with various things and can’t make this pic any better – it was a right old miserable day!
