I shot this today on the drive home (I was the passenger). Limited Edition Print (Only 50 Prints Available)
Strolling around a hotrod show I came across this car displayed as it would have been in the 50’s at the drive-in…........remember those days?
Scenic Road traveling through the Sierras in California
Curvy road in Arizona Desert.
Pure white clouds dot a pattern across a deep blue sky while the harsh, dry arizona landscape is whizzing by the few cars on the road. Ever notice how cars tend to clump together in little herds on highways instead of all spreading out? It’s a herd instinct because nobody wants to be left in the middle, alone and vulnerable to being picked out by cops, right? The clouds are also a type of “wandering herd.” / . / June 2007, Sedona, AZ

this is just a larger size of the original image so that i could get it on a canvas for an upcoming showing.
I was always fascinated by roads that dissapear into the horizont.. I am still fascinating by them.. I love walking and thinking about life trought roads like this one:) / This image is taken on the road from Aquileia to Grado in Italy which lead trought the laguna of Grado near Venice. / Image made by two merged pics and processed in Hdr Photomatix plugin for PS cs3. On my way back home from Balmain yesterday. I had a "great" Idea. Why not hang out of the car, while driving and take a a nice wide angle shot of the Anzac Bridge. / Luckily I didn’t kill myself or trashed $5000 worth of Equipment. / As with everything in life you have to take risks with photography. I think this one was well worth it. All the other 60 Shots I took in the same style weren’t. / Anyway I really enjoyed the thrill. I think I’ll do it more often. Maybe next time as a passenger. Cheers, Alex alexkess.com
I was driving and took this shot…............lol! / our rural areas can be so cool.. people think of Florida as only beaches. .. not true:).. we are pretty huge :)))))).. lots of land.. Arcadia, Florida
near medicine park in oklahoma. near lawton/ fort sill. took my sis for a drive one afternoon to show her oklahoma and this is what we found ;) Nikon d80 / march 2009 Earth Keepers Group: I love reusing platic and glass containers instead of throwing them away. They can be decorated and used to hold all sorts of things. This way you don’t have to go buy containers, you’re saving it from being in a landfill… or found in fields like these all over Oklahoma. With the wind we get…there is almost always garbage flying everywhere you can see… Very sad!
...if you were facing this way but most people were going the other way! I have a love/hate affair with freeways, hate being on them but love taking photos of them and seeing this one is only 5 minutes from my house it’s always the one I go to. Walking home from the station I looked up and that damn this is gonna be a good sunset and as I didn’t have enough time to get anywhere near the coast or somewhere beautiful I headed here instead. / Settings Canon 40D, 10-22mm EF-S. seems like they are to me! This was somewhere between Lawton, OK and Colorado Springs, CO. Not exactly sure where. Could have been in top of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico or Colorado… We drove just outside this storm system the entire way. Just barely missing it. It was as if we had a force field around us. I drove my 2 little boys and I to visit my dear friend in Colorado. 12 hours in the car on Monday then back home that Thursday. A lot of driving, but we had a lot of fun. I’m so glad we went! I took this photo while I was a passenger in a moving car….that’s why the foreground is blurred…but the distant mountains are in focus. I just couldn’t resist that sky!!

Canon EOS 350D, Canon lens 18mm, 1/640 sec, F/5, ISO-400 / As Is Photo made August 14, 2009 / StarFlyer Around The World II Attraction at the Fair in Hoorn, The Netherlands, Europe About the StarFlyer / The StarFlyer is the newest sensation in the world of Tower rides. It is a unique attraction that appeals to both young and old, the adventurous and not so adventurous. While most tower attractions seem to fizzle out after time the StarFlyer keeps the excitement going. No other family attraction combines safety and thrills like the StarFlyer. To ride, guests are seated in a double seat next to their friend or partner, the seat is deep walled and fitted with double seat belts that include an ‘in between the leg harness’ that can only be unlocked by the operator. The motion of the StarFlyer is similar to the ChairFlyer type of ride that has been around for decades, except with one difference – Altitude. The StarFlyer spins like a normal Chainflyer but also races up to a height of 70 metres as it is spinning! Then the customers are treated to a series of ups and downs as they spin backwards and forwards. A truly exhilarating experience. / Source Funtime / Featured in The Dutch Connection, Rural Around The Globe
