This is an HDR shot that I took on my girlfriend’s property the other day.. / This old shed has always taken my interest as to how it may turn out as a subject for photography so I decided to get out of my car and take some snaps.. / I hope you all like it and once again all comments are welcome.. / Thankyou very much for looking! This was a commission from friends to be a wedding present for their daughter. Its a painting of their driveway on their property which has been in the family a long time. The newly weds were moving into one of the two houses on the property and they thought that the painting would make a unique and fitting present. The painting hangs in their house like it has always meant to be there. / Acrylic on canvas board. 50cm x 70cm. 2007

this is a photograph of the driveway to a place I spend a lot of time…it is tucked up next to the Great Dividing Range in the central west of New South Wales, at Cooyal, near Mudgee…it was shot on film using a Haselbaad.

its not really a driveway, its actually the road that leads to the governor general’s house in Canberra. I guess you could call it the governor general’s driveway hehe its such a pretty tree-lined road

We seldom get snow on southern Vancouver Island, but this storm came on November 27, 2006, which was really a bit much!! The stuff we get is wet, heavy, soggy and puts a huge weight on the trees and bushes. It may be pretty but we’re happy to see it go in a day or two. Then we can clean up the broken branches.

The fog on the night of the 31st was very strong in the Netherlands. Sometimes I could hardly see more than 3 meters. This was a 20 second exposure taken just after midnight.
