Having a play with some water today.

Droplets falling away from the light into darkness.

After a quick yet volatile storm I took the opportunity to take a shot of some more water droplets. The star that you see in the droplet is actually from the sun, I have not added it in! I was amazed myself when I saw it on the computer.

It is a large version of what I’ve done before-it is evolving and changes every time. I am happier each time I begin something new. I have even more to explore with this theme.

My great grandmother lived down at Kirra when we were kids. The back of her place had a mulberry tree, which we used to climb to collect all the berries and eat them slung along a branch or sitting underneath out of the way of the sun. This is from the facepaint experiment done in collaboration with mama. :D / At first i drew something wierd on my face and then i put my face in water to add the dripping effect. / And….it worked for me! / I think this is my prettiest self portrait so far….lol….pity that most ppl find it scary :( canon 450d FEATURED!!! A small section of hull of an old boat. Years of water drips running down have coloured the surface. Please view LARGER I have been working on making a series of abstract images from boats at a local boatyard (Maylands) where old boats in dry dock are brought back to life.
